  1. I can't get into circuit level things about it. There are proprietary issues, and we don't support self repairs. It has to be done a qualified Line 6 service tech.
  2. Yes. It is not a user self repair. It needs to go to a Line 6 authorized service center.
  3. First, register the product in your account, or it won't see it as a valid device.
  4. Top photo is a broken USB port. Broken USB port and power cycling are two separate issues. Though failures don't always have just one source.
  5. Not entirely certain, since we don't service the Euro volt units here. The pink 60V and the 10.2V on the secondary not sure about. Not what I'm used to seeing. About as much as i can say without getting in trouble. All I can do is warn you about pitfalls and cautions, that's as much of an assist as I can. The are large and dangerous voltages. The tech needs to be extremely careful.
  6. Needs to be serviced by a Line 6 authorized service center, not a user self repair, not the USB chip.
  7. "… just ask Steve Howe of Yes, or Roland Orzabal of Tears for Fears, they each have two DT50-212 amps."--- By the way, I've had the honor and pleasure of servicing all four of those amps. :)
  8. You'd have to check with the Support Group in that region. Yes, if the primary side of the transformer is tripping fuses, after eliminating everything else, then left with the transformer failure.
  9. Double interesting. Then maybe just old tubes pull down a line and did something.
  10. For me, that would be a reason to buy it and fix it, since I know these amps intimately. If only I had the time and space to do that. I wish it was easier for you like that. These are cool amps, just ask Steve Howe of Yes, or Roland Orzabal of Tears for Fears, they each have two DT50-212 amps.
  11. That leaves me with one last conclusion,... he sold it because of this problem.
  12. Get into your Line 6 account, there is a section marked "Support". There is one last possibility,... on the serial number there is A891x, then 4 digits after that. What are those four digits?
  13. It is very specific. And one for each wall mains region.
  14. There's a lot that goes into that. And certain tests that have to be passed for safety reasons.
  15. Transformer for your area should be available, just don't know the distributors on that side of the Atlantic. Might try logging a Support Ticket, the Support people covering that region should respond.
  16. The manual reset was removed with the Flash v2.00 program, to make memory space for other things, since hardly anyone used the manual reset to begin with. Simply re-Flash the firmware to get back the factory default settings.
  17. It will have to be the correct transformer for your wall volt mains for your area. Be aware of the wall mains, seen too many travel to other places thinking a transformer is a transformer, and they keep blowing. I know you know better, but not everyone else does.
  18. Have you opened the chassis yet? If not, don't do anything yet. I'll be back in the morning here.
  19. Yeah, good idea. An analog tube amp, can check without tubes in it for certain things. Probably not a good idea with these, with the digital board that has expectations from the tube section. Tubes choices to use for the DT Series,... DT-50 Series: 12AX7EH Electro-Harmonix approved for the DT50 pre-amps. EL34EH Electro-Harmonix (matched pairs) for the power amps. DT-25 Series: 12AX7B China for pre-amps. EL84EH Electro-Harmonix (matched pairs) for the power amps. Power amp tube choices are crucial, and must be properly biased by a tech or Line 6 authorized service center who knows the product. Don't do this yourself, the shock hazard is too great,... and it hurts when you get electric shock. Leave it to a tech trained who is for this. These valve amps are particular about tubes and tube brands. Do Not use substitutes, No Mesa, Groove Tube, Tung-Sol or JJ substitutes. No hot rodding of an already Bogner hot rod.
  20. Sure. In the service center search on the our site, https://line6.com/find/service_center/ … there is a sub-heading for guitars, use that. It should narrow it down.
  21. Haven't come across that with the Acoustic, but as force of habit, I don't tempt fate.
