Are you sure? My Setlist 5 has patches like "One Coil Brit" and "Psyc Chiime" Which to me indicate guitars and Setlist 6 has patches like "Black Dog" Blue Suede Shoes" and "Brown Sugar" which sound like song patches to me Here's what I'm seeing.
-
I see my patches were changed but none of the Setlist names were changed (I did not "keep my patches") So it did replace all the patches but the setlist names are still what I had previously named them. Can someone tell me what each of the setlists are called. Right now it looks like setlist 5 is all the Variax patches and not setlist 3 as was previously mentioned And what are all the patches with amp names and LVM after their names. What are those about? I really wish Line 6 would come out with some sort of explanation of the patches aside from the setlist title

So here's some info I couldn't immediately find. The first three lists are showing what Line 6's amp names equal in each . The last list is the order the amkps appear in HD500x edit. That's right. A new upgrade is always preceded by a new version of Monkey.

Well the card I use has a small limit and I only use it for the internet. I just checked the account and everything is OK. I think they're just getting things ready and that just happened to be the error message that came up. I don't think it's properly set up yet.
-
I can now add it to my cart but there's an error when I try to "submit" my order. Specifically it says... There was a problem We were unable to process payment (declined or fraud locked, please verify card status with your card issuer) ( Error: 9738) Please double check everything and try again. If you need more help, go to our support page So I think they are VERY close

I thought the offical word was April but DI said there was a good chance it would be ready by now. Not for sure, just a good chance.

It could. I don't think it will at all...but it could.... :D

So since the plug parameters are wrong (DOOOHHHH!!!) I can only find a power supply that's 12 volts and 6.7 amps. I know I can use a power supply that can provide more amps than the HD500's power supply. Does the same apply in regard to volts? Can I use a 12 volt power supply for something that only needs 9 volts?

THE LINE 6 PARAMETERS ARE WRONG. THIS WON'T FIT. The pin is too small. You need one with a 2.5 mm pin.

So I recently purchased a power cable extender and right angle adapter using the parameters supplied by Line 6. THEY ARE WRONG!!!!!! The pin is stated to be 2mm. IT IS NOT!!!. I purchased an adapter that was 2.1mm and it should have fit with room to spare but it doesn't. I just got an adapter with a pin of 2.5mm. That works. So BE CAREFUL!!! What I am specifically refering to is the pin in the HD500 itself. The power supply does fit into the extender and right angle adapter but neither of those will fit into the HD500 (or 500X) I reiterate. THE LINE 6 POWER SUPPLY PARAMETERS ARE WRONG. THE PIN IS 2.5 MM NOT 2.0 MM. LINE 6....YOU OWE ME $20!!!! ;)

Yes. Keep master knob at the same position all the time. Use the Volume knob to adjust all of the relative levels. I keep my Master knob at 3 o'clock to give me a little leeway in case the audio guy wants a little more level.

I have pod 2.0 & Pod HD - is there 1 pedal i can use for both ?
brue58ski replied to guitardrummer2's topic in POD HD
Is it an HD bean, floor or rackmount unit? -
Here's some info on going wireless with a Vetta and Variax. http://www.vettaville.nl/page.php?id=92#402 Just to give you an idea of all that would be entailed in this. A big factor is your wireless box would have to both transmit and receive which would require more power (less battey life) and more weight and bulk.

FRFR mean Full Range, Flat Response..It refers to speakers. A guitar speaker iamp s NOT an FRFR speaker. Line 6's L2t is, that appears to be designed patly with the HD500 in mind. It's even bundled together with the HD500 at Sweetwater. One quick thing to do while making a patch is to run through all the speaker cab/mic variations. I've been surprised at what has come up.

Well it's based on a Fender Deluxe. Specifically, "This is the result of our quest to capture the fondly remembered tone of a harp player blowing through a beat up old Fender Deluxe." So, other than the Fender's, you might ty the Divide 13 o Dr Z. Remember, the amps in the X3 are more like an amp that's been processed and EQ'd by a recording engineer where the HD amps are more "raw".

Well I just purchased and received this 6 ft 2.1mm x 5.5mm DC Plug Extension Cable for Power Adapter, 20AWG http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00FTH6WNS/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 It DOESN"T fit. It seems like 2.1mm is too small. Anyone have any experience with this? The power supply fits on the female end of this adapter but the male end's center pin hole is too small for the unit. Which doesn't make sense given Line 6's dimension of 2mm. If anything it should be a little loose. Is there a 2.5mm available? Has anyone tried it and does it fit?

Isn't anything after the 15th, technically the end of March? :D ;) Yeah, I know....but I can still dream, can't I?

Those are just VERY hard to find (It's mainly about the amps. 3 amps is hard to find). Fortunately there is one listed on this thread.

I have looked and looked to no avail. I can't even find a right angle barrel so it's less easy to step on and break. Line 6, could you do something about that? I mean it's bad enough you picked a powersupply that NO ONE else makes, I can't even get a right angle elbow barrel to help protect it better. Line 6, could you at least find or direct me to one of those? I know, I know...idea scale but I'm mentioning it here too.

Stevie Ray Vaughn used superglue which was originally developed for medical use.

I don't know if anyone mentioned it but your direct patches will not translate well to an amp. You have to completely redo your patches. I think the sounds are there for both methods but you have to create different sets of patches for going direct and using your amp.
