  1. I am quite sure the model itself will have no chorus. That will be up to you to add. Here's how I handle stereo chorus. Put your chorus in only one of the paths with A and B panned full left and right. Start out with the mix at 100% on the chorus. Listen and adjust first the mix and then the A and B pan to your taste.
  2. What exactly does POD Farm acoustic include? Anyone know? I'm hoping it's the mic preamps.
  3. What exactly does POD Farm acoustic include? Anyone know? I'm hoping it's the mic preamps.
  4. The delay in the Day at the Beach sounds like a reverse delay.
  5. It's in the fist paragraph of the pdf press release hurghanico has. "with great-sounding new amp and effects models (sold separately), and also adds global EQ." Last line of the paragraph.
  6. That would be great. Bottom line, I'll be at least $99 lighter, shortly. :D
  7. I have an HD500 and an HD500x. I'm assuming I would have to buy two of the same model packs to get them on both units. Can you tell me if that's true.
  8. Yes I do. It really depends on the song and I'll try everything to match whatever the recording of the song sounds like, but mostly the Soldano's, JCM 800, and the Vox AC30. Guitars, Les Paul, Srat, Rickenbaker and Acoustic. I go direct and use a wedge fo monitoring. I have a mixer at home and so make sure my XLR output is a proper mic level (We;re mono). Then it's less work for the sound guy.
  9. I tried putting the patches in without changing the extension and it wouldn't work. Redoing the patch in my 500X is what I am doing to correct it but I have a lot of patches so that would take more time than I would like to spend.
  10. Wondering if anyone has had any issues with 500 patches put into the 500X. 500 is completely updated. Here's an example. I had a one amp patch I moved from the 500 to the 500X. I tried to add an amp and it works UNTIL I go to another patch and back again. When I go back the second amp acts like its muted and just a touch of the Vol control in the mixer brings it back. I just now think I answered my own question in my head. Could it be that in a 500 my 500X patch would run out of memory and since the patch was originally in the 500 and moved over only by changing the extension number, it is a 500 propriety patch and just doesn't recognize it. Even though it's in a 500X. I've had other issues but just curious if anyone else has.
  11. Holy Smokes!! Talk about misreading a post. I apologize. I don't want to do anything that could risk you leaving. Again, a thousand pardons. I will edit the post as well.
  12. This maglock intrigues me. After watching a video on it I was impressed with the increase in sustain. But I think he had one of the super vee trems on with a sustain block. So.... Does the maglock increase sustain on it's own. If so, is it a lot or do you need on of the Super Vee trems to get that. If you need one of the Super Vee trems, is there one with piezos on it that can be put in a JTV Will one of those sustain blocks fit on the JTV 69 trem?
  13. So if I'm seeing this right you actually screw one end into the guitar body (wood) and then hook the othe end to the trem. A little scary but I've done scary work on my guitar before. Just attempted my first two fret level jobs. I was surprisingly successful! Skill? Or Luck? We'll find out the next time I attempt it.
  14. It would be nice if they made guitars with only the piezo bridge and an output cable attached only to that. That would then go to a "black box" that had all the guitar modelling in it. Then when new Variax technology came along, I would just have to get a new box, not a whole new guitar. It could even be incorperated into any FX unit they come up with in the future.
  15. Yes, for the most part, Line 6 won't give any clues to any updates until it is actually officially announced. So, don't give up just. Yet. There is still hope.
  16. As DI has stated before, the HD is not dead. So for this year, according to DI, you are wrong.
  17. The HD500 XLR outs are made to be mic level. You can get them to line level but mic is the level they're built for.
  18. I understand that concept but was looking fo specific information on the chance I can actually get 50% off. Right now the best I can find is almost 50% off.
  19. So, on the Line 6 home page, it says this. "Save up to 50% on JTV". I've attache a pic. The best price I've seen is nearly 50%. I can find no other info on the Line 6 website. Anyone know anymore about this?
  20. DO NOT USE IT!!!! One wong pull and your Variax VDI capablites will be no more. It will work but the potential for damage is so great I would not do it.
  21. Here's a little hint I posted elsewhere. Don't know if it will help but here it is.... I hope I can explain this well. There's a "trick" to programming both the wah and vol to the expression pedal footswitch with Exp1 controlling one and Exp 2 contolling the other. After you have assigned them to Exp 1 and Exp 2 and to the toe switch you have to make sure the right effects (wah vol) are on and off in the effects window in HD Edit before you save the patch. For example, lets say you have the Vol assigned to Exp1, Wah to Exp2 both assigned to the footswitch and the pedal is on Exp 2 (Exp 2 light lit on the unit). And you have saved the patch to the unit. Since you had both effects off when you saved it, when you press the footswitch, it will turn them BOTH on. So you would have both the expression pedal and the wah on, with the expression pedal controlling only the Vol (the wah would be stuck in toe forward position). In other words, pressing the toe switch changes the state of the effect (on or off) from where it was when the patch was saved. Both effects on when saved, both effects will turn off when you hit the footswitch. Both effects off when saved, both effects turn on when you hit the footswitch. You have to make sure that the effect you assigned to one of the Exp slots is on or off depending on the state of the pedal on the board. So lets say the Vol is assigned to Exp 1 and the Wah assigned to Exp 2. If the Exp 2 light is lit, you need to go back to your FX page in HD Edit and make sure the wah is turned on and the Vol is turned off before you save the patch. So when you hit the footswitch, the Vol will turn on, the Wah will turn off and the Exp 1 light will now be lit.
  22. The "messages" a DAW would send would be exactly the same as what a pedal board would. IF the DAW can do it, a pedal board can too.
  23. Don't blame Line 6 my friend. Say what you will about Line 6, I have NEVER EVER heard of them doing what you're accusing them of doing. I'm assuming you're in a different country so I'm guessing it was one of the middle men that did it. Maybe even your dealer. How much do you trust them? Bottom lin is you did get screwed but I can assure you and I am POSITIVE it was NOT LINE 6 that did it.
  24. Oh, I was pretty tired. Could have easily missed sarcasm at that point.
