Thanks for responding...I have tried multiple times to scan my VSTs and Native never appears...are you on PC or Mac?

No prob, in fact, IMO, the triplplay app was almost unusable until the the recent soft/firmware update, now it and the TP hardware is much better ..if you haven't done the recent upgrade, I strongly recommend.

So you see I am in the same boat, and there seems to be no solution until Line 6 and Fishman get together on this, methinks........are you on a Mac as I am? I am going to submit a service ticket with both Line 6 and Fishman, because this is a real issue.

Well, then , you do not use the Tripleplay app, apparently , which is fine, but the OP and myself are Using the Tripleplay app as a VST host for guitar input as well as midi from the TP, which is what it is designed for , as illustrated by the enclosed picture, where Bias is loaded into the Guitar channel; the issue is that Native is not recognized when doing the VST scan in the Tripleplay app, the only guitar sim VST that does not get recognized ......and yes ,everything is 64-bit, and Im using a Mac.

Nah. hey Doc...Fancy meeting you here......When I got my Helix when it first was released, I used it exclusively as a limited controller/router for my FAS and other gear, as I was not impressed with the modeling at that time....but as we know here, great strides were Made on Helix in both modeling and MIDI implementation, and I’m sure a man of your skillz would be able to suss it out easily...4cm with an AXFX or AX8 is a GAS with helix.......hit me up if u pull the trigger ...if my Helix hasn’t been washed away by fu**ing Irma, I’d be happy to help ya out......

I'm pretty sure if we ask here , nobody has got Native working with Tripleplay yet............anyone?.....

I thought I saw thread on it in the V-Guitar forum, but now I can't find it....it's possible I'm mistaken, but I know from personal experience that Native doesn't work in the Tripleplay app. Yet.

Triple play Is designed to be able to host VSTs and virtual guitar amps, unfortunately, for reasons unknown to me, Native is NOT compatible with Tripleplay at this time, this has been confirmed by Fishman. However it works Great with the Midi Guitar 2 app, and you can host whatever synths you want to layer with Native inside the app, which is a Great VST host and mixer...... Http://www.jamorigin.com

CLICK on the native logo at the bottom of the apps window and a new pop up will appear with preset loading option.

Sadly, I can confirm that Native will not load into 64-bit Tripleplay on my Mac. but as I said earlier, it works great in the MIDI Guitar app..........

BTW, the stock presets sound super!...also good news for users of the excellent Midi Guitar 2 app, Native loads up fine inside it, both as AU and VST 3 on my MacBook, a great way to use it without having to load up a DAW, and latency appears to be less noticeable than in Logic in my initial noodling...check it out .. http://www.jamorigin.com

also a little surprised that there are no stock presets loaded on install...Did I miss a step? (Not that I really need em...)

So far so good on my MacBook Pro, no glitches on install and authorization, imported a Fremen bank and some IRs, guess now I gotta work on gain staging, since my Helix is in my other residence out of state, I am inputting thru a HI-Z Unison input on my UAD Apollo. latency is there, but hardly noticeable at a 48000, 64 setting in Logic. Anybody else’s using a similar setup?

Three Dog Night , while easy to write off as a semi-cheezy late 60's -70's hit machine , were actually awesome live , in their earliest incarnations, and had a great lead guitarist with amazing tone, and they covered many of the greatest songwriters of the day.
