I forgot to mention that Chris Beaver, a member of this forum, has created 2 very good VH presets with IR's and they are free. he posts new free presets each Thursday.

Does it crash with the helix not plugged it? Try different usb port.

You don't need the IR and instead you can use a built in cabinet.You may have to try different built in cabinets to get the tone you want. You would have to replace the IR block with a cabinet block.

Question: After doing 2.0 update and pressing 9/10 rebooting. Then importing my prior set list. Are the presents from the prior set list updated to be "fully compatible"with the updated operating system/ upgraded to the latest format? I see this.... Holding 10 & 11 with reboot upgrades existing presets to latest format. Do we need to do a hold 10/11 reboot?

I'd make sure your new helix works well as is. Then download the Mac version 2 helix editor software. When you install it the updater is also automatically installed. Then use the updater to update to version 2 firmware.

Just to chime in. I have the newer camera connection kit and it works well and I can charge my ipad at the same time it's connected to the Helix.

What tone can you not create with all the amps/cabs/ ir's we have access to now? Just curious.

If you have a guitar center near you call them. My local one had one in stock.

It's strange that the response to my support ticket and to the customer service agent on the phone both said that mine is behaving correctly. I'm confused.

Mine is fully seated. Customer service said that the transmitter is only solid green when charged and plugged into a guitar. All literature says solid green when fully charged and in the dock, and/or when plugged into guitar. Blinking green when charging in the dock. As I said above mine never is solid green in the dock. Only when plugged into the guitar. Mine blinks green in the dock after overnight charging. Who is correct? I would assume solid green in the charged meaning fully charged is what is supposed to happen. Was customer service correct or wrong?

I just got a relay g10 yesterday. I charged it over night. The green light never turned solid green while on the dock base. It just keeps slowly flashing green. Is this faulty? The manual says it's supposed to be solid green when done charging? It seems to work fine though but I'd like to know that it's fully charged.
