Hi. Is there an easy way to clear what a footswitch is assigned to? I can remove the blocks that the footswitch controls and that clears the footswitch but I can't seems to find how to clear what's a signed to a footswitch without doing that. And if there are more than one thing assigned to a footswitch is the clearing method the same? Thanks.

But.... I use an app on my ipad called tab toolkit to play my tab pro tabs which has volume sliders for each instrument that I can still control. So with that app the volume issue with the camera connection kit is a non-issue For other types of audio there may be other audio player apps that have their own volume control or equalizer that may work.

The only issue with the ipad is that you can't use the ipad volume button if you go through the camera connection kit. I can't remember now (since I'm not with my helix) if there is a way to change the output level of the USB signal that goes through the helix.

Prior to my ordering a helix I wanted to be sure that I could use my ipad or other music player through the helix. Basically same question as the original poster. I was also surprised that there was no dedicated input for this. My question was answered on the forum but I was a little unsure how easy it would be to get my music to the helix. I went ahead and got the helix ( I couldn't resist). It's been great. Lots of fun. Adding a return block to a preset takes seconds. So it all worked out well......

Try having path B rejoin after the loop.

Are you hearing both the fx loop sound as well as the sound from the input to the front of your amp. Have you adjusted the fx loop levels

I too started experiencing this for 265 and 267 after loading about 15 presets from the customtone page. Some of the patches had blank IR's and I thought that that was the issue. So I put in cabs in the place where the blank IR was. After that only 267 would rebuild each time. I re-ordered the newly added presets but that didn't fix the issue. I then re-saved all the presets I had added and that seems to have fixed the issue. I think just re-saving is what fixes this. Is anyone with this issue still having the issue after re-saving?

It's a bug that is supposed to be fixed in next update

Once the tuner output bug is fixed this bypass could be accomplished by keeping the tuner output set to multi and then engaging the tuner bypasses the patch.

Some options on how this could be done: In patch mode if you hold down the footswitch on the current patch it could bypass the patch. In stomp mode: hold down one of the bank buttons to bypass the current patch. I'm not with my helix and am assuming these options don't currently exist? Thanks.

Is there a way to quickly bypass a patch so that all effects, amps, and cabs are not heard so that just a clean guitar signal is heard?

How does it sound plugged into the regular guitar input jack

I just tried this with the app Tab Pro and same issue. But guitar pro and songster work correctly. Is it possible that for apps to produce sound correctly through the lightning port with the camera connection kit that they have to be coded in a certain way and that tab toolkit and tab pro both were not coded correctly? I did find a workaround. If you go into accessability on the iPad and set the sound to mono then you can hear the sound in both ears. But I would like to know if it is an issue with the apps themselves or is it possibly an issue with the camera connection kit? I purchased the newer version of the camera connection kit that is USB 3 and I wonder if I should try the one that USB two. But if anyone here uses Tab pro or tab toolkit please let me know if you're set a similar behavior. thank you
