has nobody got the same problem...? i´m using win10 and the latest firmware, and helix app as well... as soon as i click for an import it crashes...can´t import any custom ir´s anymore...;-( and - i have to say it here - support just takes too long...i don´t want to wait a week for an answer...that´s not ok...especially when the unit has got so much problems...it´s really starting to make me angry...!

has anybody got helix as well as an lr baggs session di for his acoustic and tried to get the same out of helix...? a/b´d it and would even share the preset...? ;-) then here i am to take it...;-)

Yes! MIDI is how I'm changing the channels... be happy...cause ext. amp switching doesn´t work with many, manmy amps...;-(

you mean both ways...like that? 1. amp send -> ebtech -> helix return and 2. helix out -> ebtech - amp return can i use normal TS cables or does it need TRS...? thanks!

ok...i´ve got an ebtech hum eliminator here...and it says line level only...so that won´t work, right?

ok, so i´ve tried it now and it works, as you said, as long, as you´ve connected an external expression pedal 2 to the unit... so you need to program different presets when you play with external exp. pedal #2 connected to sthg else, cause when you don´t need the ext. expression pedal and you don´t have it connected, it work differently...actually i think, that´s a waste of resoureces...why would you want the toe switch to switch the pedal to another exp.pedal...just for the display....? so one thing here to ask for a future upgrade: please give us the possibility to globally store, that the toes switch switches either from pedal one to pedal two or to simply stay on pedal one all the time and just to engage vol/wah vice versa....!

oh lollipop...but that´s exactly some expert on the forum here told me it´s possible... so to be sure, once again: when i use my internal pedal to control the volume block (only master volume), and by activating via toe switch the wah (and only the wah of course)...then with this setting i can´t use both external expression pedal jacks for controlling two different external expression pedals (two control changes on one external midi unit)...?? i don´t care how it´s labeled actually...i´m ok if it only shows pedal1 all the time, as long as it alternates between master volume and wah.... if that really is fact...is there a chance this is gonna be updated...? why this limitation...?? thanks!

i´m using the internal exp pedal for controlling master volume, and stepping on the toe switch activates the wah pedal... now when i plug in the external exp jacks 1 and 2 to connect them to two ext. expr. pedals and of course the midi out to midi control (via control change datas) my behringer x air xr18 mixer, my helix seems to lose the original setting for the internal exp.pedal incl. toe switch function... has anyone got the same problem...? thanks!

they should offer a hardware mod for those who need it...i actually also don´t want to carry an extra tool....that´s not what it´s been meant to be...

i have the same issue with my orange dual terror amp...plus an immense ground loop when i connect the switch jacks... ...and it´s my second helix as well...;-)

hi! i´ve still found no solution for my ground loop issue i have with my orange dual terror amp...when i plug in the external amp switch cable, i get a terrible ground loop... has there been any solution for problems like this...? thanks!

why is it so hard to say..."yes....seems they have forgotten that...maybe they´ll include this in the next generation version..."...it shouldn´t be a matter of cost, isn´t it...? ....of course to have the send/returns only balanced is bulllollipop and not state of the art...there are not many products competing with helix, in fact it´s only fractal audios fx8 or ax8...and they use the humbuster-thing...and it works great... i just don´t understand this blah blah..."...it´s not so important..."..."you can use external devices"...the aim of helix is to need no extrernal devices...and if it still does, that fails...!...i really like helix a lot, but the fact, that the amp switching is not done by relays causes that i can´t switch one of my amps with it...so that´s lollipop...!!! i´d have loved to pay 5€ more and have the possibility to switch my amp...;-( hard to understand....? don´t tell me it´s sooo good...i know it is really good...but i´d like it to be the one all in one solution, wich it likes to be...

i did reset them as well, still the same problem...but maybe it mainly is that problem with the sm57...there´s of course been other problems as well...the helix app f.e. froze etc...and it often froze while upgrading as well... i´ll actually try altering the mic settings...

yes....there must be a bug on some units, incl. mine....all !!! my presets sound fizzy as well...unusable, whereas other report they sound great...so i´m pretty sure, that´s a bug...just can´t understand why it takes L6 so long to tell us...
