it will support any supported, meaning currently being updated, variax software... workbench HD and any variax that uses it. the older variaxes will work... for playing... but not as a software interface.
-
if you look at it that way... then all the other great features are free! :D
-
No... its the original workbench software that does not support the hardware.... no new hardware is going to upgrade that.
-
https://www.youtube.com/watch?t=619&v=yAGDCCdWjoQ pretty nice preview goes through some of the models... and menus etc...

2 (SHARC 21469 @ 450 MHz) Approx. 2.3x as powerful as HD500X

probably probably lee harvey oswald no Clinton era sub prime legislation (upside down mortgages, lots of them) yes -
do not use the 12v

It might sound that way a little... BUT keep in mind, it is speculation. :) they will surely have things that they are working on that won't make the release date... what those are, and when they might come out... that's the guessing part :D but there will be plenty to keep you busy until whenever!

It is an expression pedal.. even has its own LCD above it.
-
given the price difference, i'm sure that the HD500x's will be around for a while. can't speak to future development plans...
-
well then you're capable of going... you'd still need to add the appropriate midi parameters into the Helix preset to get you what you'd want.... but i think you get the idea.
-
3u pretty sure most of that was the screen size... but lots of inputs and outputs to make room for...
-
I don't think they have finalized the list of amps and effects... and I'll let digital igloo disclose that when he's ready... don't want any lists like that to be seen as a commitment, as things may change... Digital Igloo would provide a more official answer. i'm reasonably confident that everything HD got new HX models as far as amps go.... (and then some)
-
yes, it's even fully class compliant on a mac.
-
No. no wireless connections at all... just USB for mac/PC but it does have an amazingly nice large screen and can be edited from the footswitch without lifting a finger!
-
always a good idea to throw things on ideascale.... see what happened with all the previous ideas?! :D
-
be a few months... :) just making sure you know...
-
you can even edit with the footswitches standing up... it's nice! and the interface on it is very easy as well..
-
no, will be it's total own thing.... although all of the HD amps that were in the model packs do have HX models included... so model pack isn't needed anyway.
-
it's substantially bigger front to back than a HD500, although i have no measurements... my guess would be NO.
-
hahah really? it has connections for other pedals... not everyone wants their board to be huge.... this gives people the option.
-
no... still has pre-amps etc... it's just been simplified.... as in left and right output rather than amp 1-4 and placing them left or right etc. some of it is still being worked out, so can't be a whole lot more specific (as i simply don't know...)

End of summer and no bluetooth or wireless on any sort. it's practically got an ipad built into the front of it for editing :)
