its not going to work right with USB speakers... however it can work... google, mac aggregate audio device and it will explain how to make 2 audio devices work as 1... (one for input, one for output) the latency will possibly be unbearable... but might be tolerable depending on how particular you are and how the imac plays with your devices.

much depends on what device you have and what license.... you probably need to either authorize the device in the line6 license manager or use pod farm 1.x and not 2.x if it was a license that came with an older device.

exactly what Cipher said DT has 59 votes... and you cant vote multiple times... like you can on 2 different amp packages.... they are different requests and play to different audiences anyway.... i think it's silly that there's already demand for "more" amp models.... when the helix comes with more than the HD to begin with.... and most everyone has not heard the ones that are already there.... i think that there will be a time and place for more amp models... but pre-release... not so much.... i think that you're just selling yourself on some "inspired by" brand name... cart before the horse or whatnot... but vote on what you want... that's the idea.

Not surprisingly to me... the DT integration is the number 1 vote getter at the moment.... the people that are interested in the flagship processor... like the flagship amp :)

could be something as simple as his input z being set to auto... and depending on the first effect in the patch... anyway... he's made up his mind... so not alot of point in beating him up about it.... many of us get by without the sort of issue he describes....

I don't think that the list has changed much, but if DI took it down, it was probably because he was asked to do so from within L6 HQ... everytime he posts he goes out on a limb a little bit... could be one of those legal issues where he needs to have the proper trademark and copyright disclaimers or any other number of reasons. best to wait for an official release of the information... because if he could keep it posted... it would probably be in the FAQ.

as far as i'm aware any list that DI posted would be the 1.0 list..... meaning on release.. you guys need to put your ideas on ideascale to get the visibility you need for post 1.0 considerations... i think helix is proof that they watch ideascale and that votes count...

the boost is just a small boost between the pre-amp and power amp... it's more of an amp builder tool than any sort of useful live tool (aka solo boost) the difference between the boost on the dt50 and the dt25 is the way the boost is accomplished. the dt50 boost is done via a tube the dt25 boost is solid state i'm pretty sure that despite the "dt50 only" designation in the software that the parameter exists with a different implementation in the dt25 but like i said... it's not going to blow you away or anything... it's more like one of the amp deep edit parameters...

I too have years of experience... and i think you're dead wrong.... the solution is clear and you flat out refuse to partake. (for whatever reason...) i'm not trying to insult you or in any way take away from your experience... i'm simply stating that my experience does not follow yours... why do you think car stereo's have "loudness" buttons on them? to account for this very sort of difference. you can possibly try inverting the loudness curve on your global EQ to compensate for your low volume tuned tones... and maybe simply disabling the global EQ at your gigs would get you there... i'd personally just rather do it the right way... because it's easier and more accurate than sorting out an EQ setting to kind of sort of do it... (all while making the global EQ unavailable for its truly intended purpose)

you have to create the tones at the volume you intend to use them... then leave the master volume alone... adjust the tone using whatever controls suit your needs... and save... go through all your tones and do this without touching the master volume.... then your tones should all be level... adjust master volume at the gig to suit the venue... it's really not difficult... but i dont recommend using any kind of meter... use your ears... because its the perception of volume more than the SPL's themselves that you need to level.

they are exactly the same models.... what that means is that your HD500 was not setup properly. :) some common mistakes: selecting "no cab" (the DT does use a cab model) input in pod is doubled (need to select an unused input for input 2)

Output mode needs to be match studio direct.
