  1. for sure call... the 30% is only on the weekend... so you need to wrap it up quicker than a support ticket would. good luck.
  2. I don't see why it wouldn't.... as long as it's deauthorized already they should be able to refund you.
  3. all the new models in the world won't magically fix your tones if you can't use the program to begin with.
  4. you'd need to call them to get a definitive answer http://line6.com/company/contact/
  5. you can use an ethernet cable to test... and i believe you can still get parts for the variax input.
  6. my thoughts were next gen anyway... it never occurred to me that it would be worthwhile to make this change retroactively... :)
  7. 44 here.... it seems odd that all their marketing is probably geared more towards a 20-30 age range in my opinion.... given the ages being thrown around here.
  8. you might just need to open up the license manager and authorize the pod.... although there was never a pod farm 1.x that was independent just pod farm 2.5+ you also can't use a non line6 interface with any version of pod farm 1.x i assume you actually paid for a license to 2.5+ or previously had a toneport/pod studio/x3......
  9. try actually contacting line6: http://line6.com/company/contact/ this is a user forum and is not actively reviewed by the support team.... in other words line6 support has likely not aware of your issue.
  10. nice try... but the gold one pictured, is not an option on the pull down link....
  11. if it reprogrammed your pod the amps should be available. (there are no presets) you should see the amp pack installed on one of the last setup pages on the pod itself
  12. then there must be a language issue... because you said pod farm in your post why are you trying to do anything with an ilok if you're just trying to use pod hd pro edit.... if you are trying to install the license on your pod.... launch the license manager log in authorize your pod and it will program the license for you. you do not need any code.
  13. you cant use the HD model packs with the ilok or pod farm.... in fact you cant use ANY model packs with iloks.... you need to get the platinum version if you want the model packs... with an ilok its all (platinum) or nothing (standard) as far as extra models go. you're ticket will likely result in a refund.
  14. it will work with the 69, it is mostly the same as the pickups on the 89 itself... when i say mostly... i mean it's just like the pickups without the typical pickup noise... like all the models.
  15. you can download a high gain model pack of the JTV89's onboard pickups here: http://line6.com/getrelease?rid=5634 you'll need to use workbench HD to load it, and it will take over one of your banks... typically custom 1 i believe... but you can set it up anywhere.
  16. vote: http://line6.ideascale.com/a/dtd/Sell-Amp-and-Effects-models-individually-in-an-online-store/714980-23508?submitted=1
  17. It's seeming possible, from all the retailer sites... just stating what my sources said.... Looks like some other experts are also trying to get to the bottom of it.
  18. It does sound like that, and i'm far from the final word... but i have asked those that would have a better idea about this and they essentially told me what i wrote above. none of which is the last word.... but that is my understanding of the situation.
  19. not discontinued, just some retailers reducing on hand stock.
  20. doesn't matter... other software in the referenced HAL folder can cause issues launching monkey... i had the issue and did not have pro tools either... i also use logic....
  21. what?! you can always use the knobs on the front of the amp... even if you change channels... assuming its a pod HD with line6 link... there's no reason to ever change channels or have it in the loop... i'm not being mean or demeaning in any way when i say... if that's what you're doing.... you need to learn your setup a bit more.... because you're greatly over complicating things.
  22. it takes more than an app... you have to connect via midi... the apps are third party and not officially supported... but there are also windows and mac versions.
  23. you can always call (during business hours pacific time) http://line6.com/company/contact/
