i have my license on two different units.... so at least 2 are possible for sure.... in other products it's been up to 4... ive not tried 4 or seen it written... but suspect that's the case.

I don't think many presets have been made at this point... its pretty much up to the user community.

honestly though.. i've never heard any love for the hd500 presets.... standard models either... sorry, but yeah they don't have any!

2 things.... get the latest monkey v1.70 :http://line6.com/software/ and disable your antivirus/firewall software.

none.... just the line6 pod hd400 edit. it has no midi functionality that will work with programs, just other hardware.

because it is not an HD model... it is an older port from an older pod... the same is true for any other non-HD models.

it wont be orange roland etc... those are brand names.... it will be jazz rivet (roland) mandarin80 (orange) etc... they have different names due to copyright/licensing.

Did you restart the pod after the license manager did its thing.

none of the global/system settings are in edit... never were... never will be.

on the device itself.... will not be in edit...

Works on mine. Trash the current version and re download the latest. That's what I'd do.

I'd say it was a matter of no new features to hype and no critical bug fixes either. Perhaps some minor tweaks with a side of preparations to support the upcoming variax standard.

You still have a choice. And a refund option for the first 30 days. Your subjective objection will not warrant any changes from line6. Do what's going to work best for you. It really is that simple.

The line 6 pods have always been finicky. It's not just you!

The tele deluxe models are great! 2 and 4 on the 5 way.

sounds like a question for mission engineering... i know they make specific L6 expression pedals.... but knowing the difference between that and what you have... might point to the answer.

no... pod hd and spider patches are not compatible.

therein lies the problem... you want them to change something that people use professionally and even depend on for their business to make money... just because.... every change introduces the possibility of new issues... they generally have to have a good reason for that.

rollback to the old version then... i don't understand what the complaint is... it's still available to you....

keep in mind... many things are no longer being updated.... and many things work even though they are no longer supported.... doing it that way will tell you what is supported..... NOT what will work.... many older programs that are not being updated will still work..

just go here: http://line6.com/software/ select your operating system etc and it should only show you compatible software

i've seen the pictures above before.. don't know if that's the issue here... just something worth looking at!

just launch from the icon, you may need to go into the settings and select your interface.
