  1. no, they are entirely new models... for the HD models in the pack... and new to the HD.... for some older X series models in the pack.
  2. reaper... not exactly free forever... but you can get it and use it for free.... forever... but they do have a nag screen requesting that you buy a 50$ish license i think that mixcraft is worth the 75$ it costs... neither is truly free... but i think they are the best options.

yes, only if you want to maintain stereo.. i assume it would revert to mono if you don't...(didnt try)
  4. not a problem as long as you don't link to other commercial sites (ebay/craigslist/etc probably ok)
  5. its not designed that way intentionally.... the overall design of the L6Link makes it much more DSP intensive, and cant be enabled without using more DSP... which could cause peoples tones not to work... so yes... they decided against implementing it.

i used it primarily to take the reverb load off and free up the DSP... being that reverb was last in the chain it also freed up an additional block because the m5 can have the noisegate on too. once i was able to do the reverb independently on the DT amps, i didn't need the setup any more.

i used to have that setup..... super easy! a couple of midi cables.... a couple of 1/4" TS cables and an insert cable (1/4" TRS to 2 1/4" TS) then just dial in the m5 and save your tone... next time you switch to that tone the m5 will go to that preset. surprisingly easy.
  8. and you won't get that setlist name until you reset the globals.... and won't get it at all if you keep your existing tones.....
  9. standard usb AB cable for a printer example: http://www.amazon.com/AmazonBasics-USB-2-0-Cable--Male/dp/B001TH7GUA/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1428508990&sr=8-1&keywords=usb+ab
  10. only other exterior thing that occurs to me is trying other cables.
  11. you'll need to contact support. noone here can resolve monkey server issues. http://line6.com/company/contact/
  12. ground loop? is amp plugged into the same power strip or outlet?
  13. the champ was a tiny 8" combo tube amp that fender put out in the 60's it's very lo-fi and has its own character. its kind of rude with the stock cab as they werent even high end speakers.... try it with some other cabs to get a low wattage tone that breaks up early. probably not a big worship tone to be had out of it... but it's lots of fun.
  14. maybe a boutique pack?
  15. I imagine if these ones are successful anything is possible. don't think you'll get any sort of official confirmation though. that and i think they pretty much cleaned up all the most requested amps.... so a new pack that people would buy would contain what new amp models?
  16. that would make more sense! and not a bad troubleshooting method to determine if you tones are the issue or the pod.
  17. yes! i was more into teagan than leela though :) was probably the silly flight attendant getup! :D
  18. there's some of all that in the model packs. the pete anderson and champ are fenders, a new ac30 model, and remastered jcm800
  19. good practice not always required... and it will not affect your patches... your setlist names may change... but the patches will remain the same.
  20. did you reset the globals? (hold direction key left while powering on)
  21. double check the input, I've had this happen to me, where i was using the variax and the input was set to guitar.
  22. the fx loop takes a slot as well...
