    you wont get the new bank if you choose to keep your presets... although a global reset would change the name of the bank the tones would not be changed.

    Line 6 does not fix the forum software it's a separate product from a separate company called ip board. You likely just need to add the site to your compatibility settings in ie.

    This site is full of people saying use a different midi interface. It's not a secret. It's also an interface not a cable.

    are you building a tone? or just looking for new presets (there arent any) go to the system menu and look for the global EQ (yes on unit not computer)

    my guess is that your firmware was pretty old... i know epic wasnt in the initial rollout.

    as long as the hd500x is plugged in it should work.

    the acoustic amp is from the X series, perhaps it was built at a lower level to accommodate that series? just a thought.

    well its not ready yet for non x hd pods.... sorry... the email is inaccurate.

    the HD models authorize to the hardware and not to the computer... so most likely won't work offline unless they change that. in general no need to authorize a computer at the moment... because there are no plugins etc associated.... your use case is clearly different....

    in another post I heard that digital igloo was going to look into a global EQ for the master L/R L6Link send... the L6Link as it stands would require too much processing.... hope is not lost.... BUT.... no promises were made....

    was only guessing... but i agree some optional presets would have been beneficial.

    midi power supply? no... if i understand you correctly, there is no way to power the m5 over a midi cable.

    No, because not everyone will buy the packs, meaning many of those presets would be useless to many.

    it means what it says.... but the new firmware still brings the option of additional models.

    how are you connecting the JTV? you may need to plug in a 1/4" jack to power it on... if you're using the interface.

    just run the license manager, it will see the license in your line6 account... you dont need an email.
