  1. No, gearbox is the only editor for the x3 pods. you'll have to try and use the workarounds or downgrade your operating system if it's important enough for you. or you can of course continue to edit on the device.
  2. No... the pod is hardware and will continue to work as it always has... the gearbox editor has not been supported since 10.6 snow leopard and it just happened to work on every update until now... apple changed something that made the software no longer work as packaged. there are others that have managed to get it working, if you search the forums i'm sure you'll get some ideas.
  3. you'll have to look up some of the workarounds on the website.... gearbox will not be updated.
  4. that's normal, this feature only ever worked in LVM mode if i recall.
  5. I don't have a DT25, but i think that feature existed from launch if i recall correctly.
  6. its been a long time since i had a spider III, was just what i remembered, must not be remembering it correctly, no other ideas and no longer have the amp... sorry .
  7. they are creating a product (model packs) its really very simple... if you like the product and think its worth it..... buy it.
  8. as long as you have a good midi interface, its pretty easy! all done through Line6 Monkey.
  9. I assume you mean me.... not being negative.... i'm going from historical precedence... the pro's have never gotten anything other than the form factor, built in power supply, and extra I/O that comes in the box. i think you're setting yourself up for disappointment if you hope for anything different..... i'll quite happily be wrong...
  10. i dont use it, so i guess i didn't notice, happy to be wrong. :)
  11. sounds like possibly a bad download. try downloading the driver package on its own outside of the pod farm installer: http://line6.com/software/
  12. it's just an alternative to mic'ing the cabinet... like direct to PA you're not really missing anything... it's simply not designed to do what you're trying to do... they did add that feature (kind of) to the dt25.... in the respects that the CSDO as you call it... still works when the amp is in standby.... not an option for the DT50 however. (DT50 came first, and has a different preamp setup than the DT25 which has a single tube rather than 2)
  13. go to the disk utility and repair permissions, make sure that you're logged in as an administrator account and try again.
  14. I'd like to see them come out with some promo's or contests to help people out and celebrate the launch.... i'm excited to see these come out... i think the price and packaging is very reasonable.... in fact even a bargain! i'm not going to use every model but between the JC120, AC30, Orange, and JCM800 i'm going to have some fun! (and then there's the bass models!)
  15. usually after you dial it in you just hold 1 of the ABCD buttons until it flashes and it will save your settings.
  16. the model packs will not be free for any device. the model packs will be the same price for the pro. the pro will never have anything extra or free that isn't included in the package when you buy it.
  17. Yes, up to 4 devices or computers at one time. as long as you have the license, you can use on any applicable device.
  18. not going to happen. sorry... but amp models are not free to create... and you don't keep customer loyalty or anything else if you go bankrupt giving away everything for free. they will be giving us a global EQ and who knows what else... and the new models will be available to those that do think they are worth a few bucks... those that don't think it's worth it, still have a pretty good set of models.
  19. you can still use the hardware all day long.... its the software that you have the issue with. sorry to be the one to deliver the bad news.... but that's the way that software works, you change your operating system and it may or may not work without the software being updated... and the original pod farm is not getting any more updates.
  20. no... not that i know of.... you didn't mention any hardware issues.... your software is out of date... and it's not being updated.... technically the newest supported operating system for pod farm 1 is 10.6 snow leopard. apple finally changed enough to break the fact that it worked anyway on 10.7, 10.8, and 10.9 if you want 10.10 support, then you will need to buy the upgrade to pod farm 2.x alternatively you can downgrade your apple operating system and continue to use version 1
  21. no not typically.... its NOT a free upgrade. if you buy a new one you get a free upgrade to 2.... if you bought it before 2 was out then it's not free. (except the trial version) there's not going to be any more updates to version 1
  22. you need to make sure you log into the license manager with the correct account... if you are... then you may need to contact support and have them review the licensing on their end. http://line6.com/company/contact/
  23. POD Farm Installer Mac Version 2.58 Released 10/15/14 This update adds support for OS X Yosemite. as you can see above it was released quite a while ago... either you don't have the latest version or you have another issue.... it runs on mine no problem.
