  1. i said specifically logic pro x (yes the AU) and i've used 64bit reaper, bitwig, ableton, and indeed cubase 6 with the VST's so clearly YOU are the one mistaken. and i KNOW that it works for me... which clearly means that you're wrong.... because according to you it simply doesn't work. and i know that's 100% wrong. now you can continue working on YOUR issue... or you can continue to mislead people here on the forums... there is no real argument.
  2. workbench is java related... fix your java and that should fix that... same with edit... look at the fix for monkey a few posts up (fixed mine) it's your mac that changed not your line6 software.... although i'm sure that doesn't matter to you... both workbench and edit have not been supported officially for years... but they worked anyway because apple didn't make any changes that affected them. there are special versions of java posted on apple's site (google) that will probably resolve the majority of your issues.
  3. Yes the packs will be available to the bean. and no... the packs are not going to be available ala carte....
  4. regardless of what you "think" is resolved or not resolved.... i have access to the 64 bit plugins when using logic pro x so the plugins are there and they do work.... there's no reason not to believe that your choice in DAW may in fact be where the issue is. logic does not support 32bit plugins natively... therefore i know they are running in 64 bit.
  5. you got it right.... its all relative to actual tuning... so ye.
  6. Only for 500 500x pro pro x and bean. Not for 300 or 400.
  7. it does whatever you tell it to do... they are all assignable.
  8. sometime 1st quarter... so within a couple of months, hopefully sooner.
  9. they have not announced any updates to the DT.... of course if the DT is connected to a pod, i'm sure that it will work as expected.... the DT amps on their own.. highly unlikely.
  10. it's strongly assumed that they will use the same licensing that they have with other packs... meaning up to 4 devices with one license.
  11. works fine.. he even demoed the feature if you look up some of the recent NAMM videos.
  12. both of these show on my globe, so i think you're good... but my globe still shows Persia, so you might want to get a second opinion :D
  13. It's gonna be go where they reinvent your tone after marketing is done with it. :D
  14. True. Go where the tone is. Make them earn it. Believe me they will try.
  15. it will only work on the computer that has the GX plugged in at the time.
  16. not via Line6Link but you can plug into it like any other amp.
  17. mostly older... but perhaps useful in your efforts. http://www.soundonsound.com/sos/feb99/articles/line6.321.htm http://www.soundonsound.com/sos/mar06/articles/line6.htm http://www.soundonsound.com/sos/oct00/articles/line6.htm http://www.soundonsound.com/sos/apr12/articles/line6-dt25.htm
  18. the 300 and 400 will not have the option for the model pack.
  19. can you not work with it locally? the cloud thing i was thinking bonus... not primary operation.
  20. did you guys try this: http://line6.com/support/topic/9239-cant-update-line-6-monkey-on-mac-osx-yosemite/?do=findComment&comment=75923 this cleared it up for me.
  21. how about we all just relax, he's just having fun... and you're on a serious mission... different pages is all... no one is getting kicked. let's just agree to ditch the drama from all sides. thanks.
  22. you do know that pod farm 1.x is a free upgrade and it's the same models in a newer interface... and i've not heard anyone saying that doesn't work anymore...
  23. i think what he means... is that the x-series models where the x-series models.... the HD models were all new... completely modeled from the ground up again and have no correlation to the models in the x-series. the x-series models that are coming over... are NOT being remodeled.. they are being translated so to speak. so they aren't getting the "HD" treatment.... however, as you can tell from my last post... i do expect that there will be some improvement.
  24. the thing is... they aren't going to sound identical to the x versions... they are more likely to take advantage of the newer tech in some way... and since they aren't baked in yet... so to speak... making those minor tweaks isn't going to mess up anyones tones... i suspect they will be sort of an x-series plus... whatever that means :) we already know they are getting paired with HD cabs for example..... no x-series cab's coming through.... the mic models are HD.... etc etc... no idea if they'll get the deep edit treatment...
  25. the whole thing sounds lifeless to me if you remove the hum, i'm also not a fan of EQ's outside of possibly a global fit the venue type tweak... between the volume, tone, amp tonestack, and all the effects parameters... i get what i need. i do use them occasionally as an effect... which may not make sense to some... just saying glad they're in there... but many people abuse/overuse them IMO.
