  1. confirmed: sarcasm detectors are operating smoothly, and topic redirection is calibrated to specification.
  2. yes but it's the wrong kind of echo... we could probably fix it with a firmware update...
  3. Playing his spider in the studio
  4. well... you said it wouldn't play effects with the UX2 unplugged... meaning if it was recorded dry... you would hear it dry on playback if the pod farm license was disabled... if you record the wet track... then you would hear your effects and all when pod farm was disabled... this is what i was getting at... and it's a 100% certain reason that whether you record wet or dry DOES matter.... however... if you're saying you're not getting any output... then it's probably a configuration change in mixcraft taking place when it doesn't find the expected interface (UX2)
  5. if you recorded it wet, it shouldn't matter... perhaps the removal of the UX2 is also changing or not changing your audio card setup... and the tracks are trying to play through the removed device?
  6. you can record wet and dry on different tracks... but to use pod farm you need the device plugged in... or to buy a standalone pod farm license.
  7. the license is owned by and tied to the UX2... no UX2=no license=won't work.
  8. flextone III is the latest flextone model... and has the newest modeling... in this case i believe that the HD designation only meant that it was the amp "Head" not HD modeling in any way.

    Pod X3 Pro

Yes and it is currently supported and updated for those platforms. The usb recording features are very different from the x3 so be sure to look into that for your specific needs.
  10. In the windows control panel with all the other control panel applets. I think it's called line 6 audio midi.

    Pod X3 Pro

Mavericks and Yosemite are no longer supported. it seems that the community have found work arounds that will make the programs work... so yes it can be done if you don't mind doing a little technical this and that.... (search the forums for Yosemite) but no you can't really just download the programs and go anymore.... as far as macs go... windows 8/8.1 is technically not supported either... but the software still works as is.
  12. yeah but he got the info about updates being handed out from MSNBC
  13. not sure... but check monitoring in your daw... there may be some sort of phase cancellation or something going on.
  14. agree... just talking cable specs cause you can build your own VDI.
  15. just make sure not to use a crossover cable! the cable needs to be entirely 568A or 568B not both.
  16. you can install it anywhere you want! :) the licenses go with the device, so all good!
  17. its not supported... but it does work... http://line6.com/software/ just tell it you have an older OS and use the download.
  18. did you buy pod farm 2? pod farm 1 is always free with the x3, pod farm 2 rarely is... (depends on when purchased new/registered...) you probably, just don't have a license for version 2.x
  19. you'll have to find a driver that works.... some useful info on this forum thread: http://line6.com/support/topic/5226-gearbox-is-dead-what-a-shame/?hl=yosemite&do=findComment&comment=72727
  20. yes you still need midi to flash the DT amps... i highly recommend an m-audio UNO device... you may get by with others... but this interface has proven to be the most reliable.
