  1. unless it's really recent and happens to be near the top so we can stumble upon them, there's no way to search for posts that were explicitly hidden.
  2. it may show up in your feed: http://line6.com/support/index.php?app=core&module=search&do=user_activity&mid=395361 but if it doesn't you'd probably need an expert or admin to unhide it.
  3. i unhid it. (regular users cannot see hidden posts)
  4. keep in mind though that the volume differences are an improvement... NOT a defect.... the HD models better represent the true dynamics between the different guitars.... lots of people could care less... and would rather just have them all be the same level.... and others prefer authenticity... i prefer you at least know the why... then you can make your own informed decision.
  5. its a whole different thing to sync audio in 2 directions.... isn't going to happen. (although that's also either different hardware or a different protocol, which doesn't apply anyway)
  6. you can get the workbench interface... but if you can use it... i'd get a pod.... XT live would be the oldest one that would work (not the bean or pro) and hd500 would be the newest (not the 500x)
  7. a 1st generation ipad will not work at all!!! the app requires a newer version of the ipad operating system... generation 1 can only get version 5.... long out of date as we're on 8 now....
  8. wish they offered the tort shell in HSS :D or even black... i have the burst model... and i never care for white on burst...
  9. no... perfectly normal.... the MKII came much later than the flextone....and the FBV is just a controller.... meaning that there were no updates after the release of the MKII pedal that added any functionality to the flextones. therefore the amp does not know what to do when the button is pushed. (and won't ever.... since the flextone is no longer being updated)
  10. there is no memory in the pedal... its just a controller.... the pedal itself is optical... call any of the authorized service centers to help you locate part info or schematics... they are all independent and MAY help... if you have no interest in paying them to do anything though... you are asking them to help for free... you may find that many of them will be too busy with paid work to help... and they may refuse... be nice, ask nice, and maybe you'll get lucky. i don't know anything about it electronically that would help.... good luck.
  11. as phil said itunes will handle audio from any source... in fact i pay for the itunes match... and it will instantly add alot of those tracks to the cloud from the itunes server.... so i get access to the apple ripped high quality downloads even if my original mp3's are in lesser quality. itunes isn't the simplest... and it takes a little learning... the trick is to learn it as is... instead of trying to make it work like you want it to... i had to overcome that a bit too.... years ago.... now i pretty much run everything through itunes since i like the way it organizes my media... the one great big huge thing to do with alternate sourced music files though... is to make sure that the tags are correct... nothing worse than importing untagged messes into the library.... i use jaikoz to correct the tags in my library
  12. just use itunes and sync.... why bother with 3rd party stuff when the functionality you seek works natively.
  13. they are just now releasing the variax standard with the same electronics... safe bet they intend to ride this hardware platform out a bit longer.... there's always something new... and you can wait for it.. always... and of course never get it in your hands.... i'd just get it if you want it it... and then get back to making music.
  14. was not arguing that at all.... i know governments need reigned in.... was just making the argument about the topic being forum appropriate.... this is something that a line6 customer should accept... because its out of line6's control.... it's also something that a citizen of whatever country... should not accept... and try to change. just don't think you'd find much of that change is gonna happen by beating up line6....
  15. seriously how is this topic not dead? this is a government issue not a line6 issue.
  16. you should be able to see it if you use the software... the amp settings at least. (DT amp needs upgraded to fw 2.0) the output mode will probably take care of itself.... for the input you need to make sure that the input is not set to same... meaning set path 2 to variax or mic... or something you aren't using.
  17. yes, its possible.. if you set the right preamp.. the right input settings, and right output settings.
  18. its class compliant, you shouldnt have to install anything on the mac.... try a different usb port or a reboot...
  19. its different between the dt25 and dt50 but it's not as simple as just dialing it in... there's the input and output settings too.
  20. you need to register the UX1, and then log into the license manager and authorize the device, the license manager will install the license to the UX1.
  21. you have to have the new version of edit... and the pod must be connected.
