Any parameters you want to change with snapshots need to be assigned to the Snapshots controller (or any other controller). They aren’t recalled automatically. To assign the parameter to the snapshots controller, push and turn the knob at the same time. You’ll see brackets appear around the parameter.

It has to do with how Windows numbers the drives and what the Line 6 software is looking for. I haven’t really looked too deeply as far as why it happens, but it happens with both HX Edit and POD Go Edit.

Do you have an SD card slot in your computer, and is there an SD card in it?

Make sure you have the latest version of HX Edit installed.
-
Are you running the Neural plug-ins inside of Reaper or are you launching the standalone versions? They have both, and it sounds like you may be trying to use the standalone versions.
-
They both have two effects loops. It’s just that the HX Effects has the Sends as two mono jacks, whereas the Stomp XL has a TRS stereo send that can be split out into two individual mono Sends.
-
The Stomp XL has pretty much all the same I/O as the HX Effects, the same number of footswitches, and it includes amp modeling. It just has the color screen instead of scribble strips. The only real difference in the I/O is that the EXP jacks on the HX Effects can either be used for expression pedals or EXT AMP relays. On the XL, they can be expression pedals or footswitches.

POD XT Live - Installing Metal Shop Pack
phil_m replied to retsekjt's topic in POD 2.0, POD XT, Pocket POD, FloorPODs
Catalina won’t be able to run the required software you need to install the model packs, unfortunately. With the release of Catalina, Apple dropped support for 32-bit applications, and both of the Line 6 programs you need - Line 6 Monkey and License Manager - are 32-bit only. Do you have access to a Windows machine you could use? The editor for the XT Live is 32-hit only as well. So as far as the XT Live and Macs, you’re kind of out of luck. -
Well, first off, Native doesn’t usually come for free with the Helix, but there have been some promotions where that’s the case. So if you bought your Helix with that promotion, then, yes, you can get it for free. There’s no physical product associated with Native, though. You just download the program from the Line 6 site. You would first need to register your Helix. I’m not exactly sure how the free Native promotions work. I imagine they give you a code or something.

What hardware are you looking to download patches for?
-
The drivers are included as part of the POD Go Edit installation package, so if you downloaded and installed that, you should have them. The POD Go should show up as one of audio devices you can select in Reaper if the drivers are installed. You can also download the drivers on their own if you need to. You can select Drivers from the middle pulldown menu on the Downloads page, and they should show up. What operating system are you using?

If you’re talking about the little 1/8” to 1/4” adapters, those are basically commodity items… It really shouldn’t make a difference. But like anything with a soldered connection, they can break. It sounds like you have a loose connection either in the adapter or in your headphone plug.

Is there a detailed description for the new reverbs somewhere?
phil_m replied to revolver1010's topic in Helix
All of the HX reverbs are Line 6 originals. They’re not based on other existing pedals. Some of them are reminiscent of other reverb algorithms, but none of the are meant to be a model of anything in particular. -
It was described in the manual as working the way it did, plus the product manager who actually designed the thing said multiple times, in multiple places that the way it was working was the intended design… So by the very definition, that can’t be a bug. You might not like the design, but that doesn’t make it a bug. In any case, it’s a moot point now because people can choose whichever behavior they like.
-
It wasn’t a bug. It was just the way the feature was designed. But, yes, that behavior was updated so you can choose the way it responds by setting the Auto Impedance setting under Global Settings now. You can choose whether the first active block determines the input impedance or the first block in the chain. I believe it was added in the 3.00 update.
-
You’re confusing the presets with the models. Presets are a particular signal chain using certain blocks. The models are the actual amp, cab and effects that you can use to build those presets. The models are all there, it’s just there aren’t any factory presets using them. There are quite a few models, most probably, that don’t show up in any factory presets.
-
The POD Go has MIDI over USB capabilities only, so it would need to be connected to a MIDI host device in order to receive MIDI clock.
-
Oh... I missed that you're talking presets... When I read your post earlier, I assumed you were talking about the models themselves. I just double-checked, and there are no factory presets using those models, at least that are named after the model like the other models.
-
The FBV is just a controller, so it contains no presets and presets can't be loaded on it. It just switches between the four presets in the currently loaded bank on the hardware it's connected to.
-
Are you looking on the hardware or on the editor? Make sure you have the latest version of POD Go Edit installed.
-
Go to Global Settings>Ins/Outs>Return Type and make sure it's set to Return, not Aux In.
-
Which hardware are you talking about? You need to do a factory reset.
-
I don’t think there’s any real difference from a noise perspective.
-
This isn’t true. You can put any of the blocks anywhere you want them in the chain.
