  1. Does this also happen if you plug straight into an amp taking the POD out of the equation?
  2. You can also download the fw file and have Monkey flash from file.
  3. Sounds like a noise gate setting. Try turning down the threshold and/or turning up the decay. Or turning the gate off.
  4. You have to be careful, the electron beam will shorten the life of the tubes in the amps.
  5. There are no modeled amps or effects at all. The units are loaded with real tubes, cabs, pedals, and mics, in microscopic versions. All the DSP is used to attenuate the inputs and then amplify them.
  6. Have you tried power cycling your phone and factory reset after forgetting the connection and before re-pairing?
  7. btw, now that I reread you post after a cup of jo it is not confusing to me, now I feel retrospectively dense!!
  8. That would be awesome!! I was going to trade-in and upgrade my Trek this spring, but Zap bullied me into getting a JTV that I can't afford.
  9. +1 You could try to register, if he didn't, it should let you without issue.
  10. Actually looks like he has 38 posts, there are some from back in 2013, and who knows how many from the old forum. I think it is an honest question if you are not well versed with amp modeling, not sure why all the negative votes.
  11. The amps are missing because you can use PF 2.5 trial version standalone and plug-in for free.
  12. I had a feeling that was coming. Yep, looks like still no VSTi From their site: VST Plug-InsAudacity can load VST effects (but not VST instruments) on all operating systems.
  13. Audacity is free, but does not natively support ASIO protocol. You can however compile it to include real ASIO support (not ASIO4ALL). IIRC, VST plug-ins work, but not VSTi, which is likely a deal breaker for many.
  14. You could try downloading and running the driver installer outside of Monkey.
  15. Honestly, that is virtually free considering the power they pack and the price of some of the more expensive DAW's. Well worth the $$ IMHO, especially if you're just starting out. Reaper is currently $60 but comes with 2 major number revisions. So right now it is 4.77 so you would be covered thru 5.99 I haven't used Mixcraft yet, but will be trying it out sometime this year.
  16. the verbal abuse is very hurtful    I'm laughing on the outside but crying on the inside.
  17. I used to have a chopper style triryche, I mean tricycle in the early 70's.
  18. Yeah, there are definable more variables concern BT when playing live. An mp3 player into the aux in would be the way to go.
  19. When you run the Monkey do you get green ticks for drivers and POD Farm? Is this a red-faced Toneport or black-faced POD Studio?
  20. Looking thru the Flash Mem downloads, I don't see any mention of it, so likely it has not been addressed yet. Maybe someone else can confirm.
  21. Either use the PC Utility via USB or in the AMPLIFi Remote App goto settings>>Device Flash
  22. You can play songs stored locally with the app's player and it will do a tone match. You can also search by artist, song, style... That being said, you might try the Firehawk app as it may give you some HD models for tone matching. Not sure what's all in the cloud yet for Firehawk.
  23. Unfortunately there is no option to disable it at this time. It would be nice if you could set the min and max like you can on the volume pedal, so if you do accidentally engage it you could have it in a locked position.
