  1. The amp out is for going into the front of an amp (typically amps with no fx loop) and does not include any music being streamed via BT. In this fashion you can have just guitar going to an amp and the BT stream to a FRFR.
  2. I recalibrate the pedal after any update. With one of the updates some users, including myself, had no volume whatsoever until a pedal calibration was performed.
  3. Depends, do you have the standalone PF 2 license and/or the actual account that contains the model packs licenses? Either way PF does not work with the xt as an editor. Anybody can DL PF for free, what you have access to depends on the licenses, the reside with a user account.
  4. I don't use Reason, but I think you can import wav files but not mp3, so maybe convert your mp3. Most DAWs allow you to drop in other audio files. I use Reaper, but there are others.
  5. No. The factory reset was required to enable the banks. Glad you got it sorted!
  6. Yep. iPad shows 2.10, but the newest fw from the list shows 2.010
  7. btw, the 2.1 fw does have a tweak to the headphone out. I would update and do a factory reset. If you have Win 7 or 8 there is a PC utility you can try. It flashes it in a few minutes.
  8. In the app click on AMPLIFi on the left side to get to the hardware's banks. Also, after flashing the fw that enables the 100 presets you need to do a factory reset.
  9. Which firmware does the app show? Are you sure you are paired? Th banks can not be erased, unless you roll back to a firmware before they were enabled.
  10. Which few is your AMPLIFi? You can access all the banks with the iPad or foot controller. When a searched tone loafs, the physical position of the tone knobs do not matter But as soon as you move one the preset will mirror it.
  11. Can you confirm the fw version number? Did you factory reset after the update? Monkey does mp not interface with the AMPLIFi series.
  12. +1 to silverhead, unless you are referring to presets saved to your computer.
  13. Learning my JTV!!!

  14. You can not import tones from other Line6 software.
  15. I'll check when I get home, but I flashed with the PC Utility.
  16. Showing 2.10.0 on my Moto G 2nd Gen (Kit-Kat) and on the PC Utility. I'll check on the iPad soon. Been recording for ~2hrs, *no hiccups!! *disclaimer: no hiccups is in reference to USB recording functionality no claims regarding the actually playing are inferred
  17. Announcement form Tony!! What is it? The AMPLIFi v2.1 firmware update turns AMPLIFi 150, 75 and FX100 into powerful class-compliant USB interfaces for Mac, PC and iOS*, making them ideal for use with GarageBand®, Cubase®, Pro Tools®, Logic®, Ableton® Live, Cakewalk® and other pro recording platforms. All AMPLIFi owners can now record with the same exact amp and effect tones they’ve downloaded from the cloud or created themselves. AMPLIFi v2.1 firmware update is available now for AMPLIFi 150, 75 and FX100, and can be downloaded via the AMPLIFi Remote iOS and Android apps, as well as the AMPLIFi Utility for PC. The ASIO driver for PC is available at www.line6.com/software. * Camera Connection Kit required.
  18. There's a pitch glide, a bass octaver, and smart harmony (going on memory atm). Best depends on what you are trying to do, but if you are trying to use any of these effects as an electronic way to change the tuning of your guitar on the fly, none of these will work in that fashion.
  19. There are no rules when creating patches!! You can make very interesting effects buy not following the conventional "rules". But I will suggest a few guidelines if you are new to creating patches. Place distortions and/or drive pedals before the amp(s). Place your modulations, delays, and reverbs after the amp(s). If you are building hi-gain patches try a noise gate at the beginning of the effects chain. Setting Input 2 to "same" will add to the signal being feed to the chain, many users select "Variax" to avoid this. These are just guidelines to get you started, remember, no rules!!
  20. Where your reverb and stomps are in the effects chain can make a huge difference on how everything behaves, that's what Mr_Arkadin is asking.
  21. If you guys want the attention of Line6 submit a support ticket or call them on the phone. This is a user forum, although official Line6 reps stop in from time to time, the forums are not monitored for direct support inquires. It is mainly users trying to help out other users.
  22. Yes, you can a pedal in front of the UX, it would behave like plugging your guitar into a pedal and the pedal into the front of a real amp. Currently none of the PODs have an effect to handle drop tunings. There are some effects in the HD line that you can change the pitch, but it is monophonic. Line6 does have the JTV line of guitars that allows you to do alt tunings on the fly, and also model different guitars and guiatr configurations.
