  1. Looking forward to trying them out. But I am a bit confused regarding the discrimination, perhaps beings not of this Earth would enjoy them too!!
  2. Depending on what screen you're on, on the left side you should see the AMPLIFi, tap on it to see all the banks. Note, when the remote app first syncs with the AMPLIFi it will take a few moments for all the banks to populate.
  3. The starting positions will not affect the downloaded tone (with the exception of the Master Vol). However, once the tone is downloaded, turning the controls will affect the settings and the app will mirror the adjustments.
  4. Correct, it doesn't have to be the soundboard, but when it is not, and you are using the pc's soundcard, the pc's soundcard is connected to the pc speakers, the HD is not. To play the HD trhu your PC's sound card you would need to run the HD's analog outs into the pc's Line In.

    Update 2.0

Being able to record via USB would be nice. I for one sure hope it is added in a future update.
  6. There are 4 X 25 slots. You can overwrite any slot you want. Just edit a tone, rename if you'd like, and save to hardware. By user it just means there is no Line6 factory preset in Bank 25 presets A, B, C and D, they are empty.
  7. You can also access them from your iPad.
  8. waiting for someone to approve first post spam??
  9. Is this while POD Farm is open? I would open POD Farm and look at the sends in the mixer view, thing in your DAW select Line6 ASIO as your device and enable inputs 1 thru 4 ( or whatever you usually use).

    Update 2.0

The latest Firmware is 2.0 which adds Android compatibility. Currently the USB is only for flashing the unit, there is no recording via USB or a PC editor.
  11. The Utility for Win 7 may not work on some pc's, hopefully they'll have it ironed out soon. In the meantime is there a Win8 machine, iOS7 or iOS8 device you can try?
  12. I was able to update with a Win8 laptop
  13. That is proper functionality. Launching within your DAW is the plug-in version, which does not route any inputs from your UX1, it using your tack as the input, and is typically done post processing. For example, I typical capture 2 stereo tracks simultaneously, one dry track, and one wet, then apply the plug-in to the dry track post processing. Depending on your computer, you may be able to monitor the plug-in in real time while recording, on my set-up I can not due to too much latency. btw, you can also select the input via the Line6 Audio-MIDI control panel without launching POD Farm standalone, but you will not hear the models/effects, unless you are monitoring the plug-in in real time while recording.
  14. I don't see screenshots. In the standalone mode, are you selecting Mic from the drop down as your input? If you are using the plug-in and not the standalone, the track in your DAW is the input.
  15. Check you power settings concerning USB ports.
  16. I think the Utility may have some bugs for Win7, hopefully they will have it sorted soon. In the meantime, do you have an iOS7 or iOS8 device? You can flash to the newest firmware and gain the Android functionality.
  17. Are you using Win7 64 bit? I was able to update with a Win8 laptop.
  18. You will likely need to update the firmware, then do a factory reset and pedal calibration.
  19. You need to update the firmware to 2.0 before it will work with Android. This can be done with an iOS7 or higher device or via a PC Utility.
  20. This is ideaScale http://line6.ideascale.com/ People submit ideas/feature request and user vote on them. I'm sure it wouldn't be a huge deal to program it for a bigger window, but they would need higher resolution graphics. For me personally, I wouldn't want the window any bigger, between my DAW, and couple plug-in's I'm already running out of screen real estate!! And I'm guessing they are focusing their efforts elsewhere.
  21. I am not using forScore. You should be able to stream your music from your iPad with forScore, but as soon as you open the AMPLIFi remote app you will likely lose the stream from the forScore app. If you don't open the AMPLIFi remote app, I'm not sure whether or not you can still use the BT pedal. If you have access to an AMPLIFi at a local shop , I would go try it.
  22. My mistake, the method bypasses your AMP's preamp. So if you want either all your AMP or the FX100's amp models and effects... I would run your guitar to the an A/B box and have A go to the front of your AMP and B to the FX100 with the Main Out(s) to the AMP's FX return. The AMP out on the FX100 is EQed for the front of an amp, and by the time you tweak your amp's setting to make that sound good, the FX return will likely sound poor.
  23. In a live situation, I would personally eliminate the Remote App form the equation.
