  1. FWIW, most of the POD Studios (black faced) units will authorize POD Farm 2.5x for free, unless it was 1st registered before the release of Pod Farm 2.
  2. That's a stumper. Maybe the power supply isn't quite 2000mA even though regardless of stated specs. Did you try the headphone out?
  3. It may also be a BIOS setting looking for a bootable USB OS. But I guess a simple solution would be not to plug it in until after booting up.
  4. So the computer sees it and allows you to flash it? So exactly what is not working? I know you said it has the same specs, but Just for the record, the PSU has to Output 9V AC. Tip polarity is virtually irrelevant with an AC Output.
  5. I have used the FX100 with an iPad Air with iOS8 with no issues so far. One session was ~ 30 min, the other ~ 45 min.
  6. Unless you purchased an upgrade, POD Farm 1.12 is the highest version that is free for the X3, and is the plug-in only. Sounds like you are launching PF outside of your DAW, it will not work with the X#. The graphical editor for the X3 is Gearbox.
  7. If your computer can recognize the GX you should be ok, but it doesn't sound like that is the case (the GX acts as a dongle). You could try to pick up a used GX, or purchase a POD Farm hardware independent license.
  8. I think when it times out, it is more of an internet issue. The Line6 servers might have been busy. I know for me one time a reboot of my iPad and router did the trick.
  9. Yes and no depending on your setup. Taking the stereo issue out of the equation, the aux in of the AMPLIFi is better suited for the Line(s) out of an HD.
  10. The issue there is you would be running a (potentially stereo) Line Level output into a mono instrument level input, which would mono sum your input regardless. Any stereo separation would then need to come from the AMPLIFi's effects. The aux in is Line Level and preserves the stereo signal.
  11. Go the the mixer screen in PF2 and determine what sends 1 thru 4 do. Then enable 4 inputs in your DAW. Make sure you are using the Line6 ASIO as your device on your DAW.
  12. You can indeed have more than one type. The 3 effect blocks can be of any type. But the number of total blocks is fixed. For example, select an effect block, click to the left, then you should see Type which will allow you to change the type.
  13. In Cubase are you selecting ASIO Line6 as your device?
  14. No worries. Remember, you can always multi-track, not the same as capturing all at once, but sometimes it gets the job done.
  15. Just for clarification, if you run the Monkey, you have green ticks for drivers?
  16. Also, make a Dual Tone in POD Farm and select Line 1 for Tone A and Line 2 for Tone B. Then in the POD Farm's Mixer determine what gets sent to Reaper. In Reaper make sure you enable the appropriate inputs. There are up to 4 available (2 stereo).
  17. My guess... Light Up the Sky = Roland Pack Up and Go2 = PODxt Either way I dig both tunes!
