  1. Cool!! Glad you got it going. Even though USB 3.0 is backward compatible, the UX does not seem to like all the USB 3.0 ports.
  2. Is this a Toneport (red-faced) or a POD Studio (black-faced)? If you haven't already, download the newest Monkey from the site and run it. Do you have green ticks for everything?
  3. Did you have it working in the past or is it new and you are first setting it up?
  4. No BT streaming is routed to the AMP OUT. This is by design. If you really want to pump the BT stream to your Spider, run the Main Outs to the Spider's FX return if it has one or the MP3 in.
  5. Are you looking for tones you created? If so the tone files are stored on the HDD, so if you have access to your old HDD, you can port them over. As for presets that come with POD Farm, what version were you running prior?

  7. +1 to BillBee And are they connected directly to the UX2?

    USB port

At this point it is not known. All all they are saying ATM is the USB port is for future use. If they end up adding recording capability, (making it a USB audio interface), I think MIDI functionality would be logical. But at this point, that is all speculation.
  9. If you purchase a POD Farm 2.5x license you can authorize it on up to 4 devices simultaneously. The Hardware Independent version comes with the plug-in and will also run as a standalone with most ASIO USB Interfaces. It also has a 30 day money back policy. The i-Lok version is plug-in only, requires an i-Lok, and was NOT refundable.
  10. Just for clarification, if you run the newest version of Monkey you have green ticks for everything?

  12. For the record, POD Farm 1.12 replaces Gearbox. In the mixer view of POD Farm you can control what is delivered to Sends 1 thru 4. I think in Gearbox it is send 3 and 4 set to Pre (Can't remember off hand, it's been a while since I used Gearbox). Either way, in your DAW make sure you have allo 4 inputs enabled, then when you arm a track to record, make sure you are selecting the appropriate inputs.
  13. Open the Line6 Audio MIDI control panel. There are options for how the PODxt behaves with your DAW. Good chance you may be doing hardware reamping during playback.
  14. Make sure you have the ASIO drivers for your mixer installed. Also, if you can't get it to work with POD Farm standalone, try using the POD Farm plug-in within your DAW (post processing). That being said, POD Farm is meant to work with most (ASIO) USB Audio interfaces, with this being more of a mixer, not sure how it will behave with it.
  15. Line6 has nothing to do with ASIO4ALL. I would uninstall and use it only as a last resort. Please make sure you have the most recent version of Monkey which can be download directly from this site under Support>>Downloads. Run the newest version of Monkey and make sure you have green ticks for everything.
  16. It's on IdeaScale more than once. You can vote them up if you'd like. This is just one of them: http://line6.ideascale.com/a/dtd/503352-23508 Who knows, maybe there will be a legit wrapper before POD Farm AAX? I think there was a wrapper but it got pulled for licensing, haven't checked in a while. But there are possible work arounds. http://www.pro-tools-expert.com/home-page/2013/7/10/7-ways-to-host-vst-or-au-plug-ins-in-pro-tools-11-and-earlie.html But I personally don't see why Avid decided to lop off support for other formats.
  17. Just for clarification... Did you purchase the Hardware Independent version or the i-Lok version? i-Lok will only run as a plug-in within your DAW. Have you run the License Manager?
  18. Gearbox can be used as a GUI for the PODxt Pro. Unless you purchased a Gearbox Plug-In license a long time ago, you will not have Gearbox as a VST. The Gearbox plug-in is discontinued and replaced with with POD Farm 1.12. The current Plug-In offering is POD Farm 2.5x, so unless you purchased the license, or somebody gifted them to you, you will not be able to use the plug-in in Cubase. So the error you are getting is likely becuase you do not have a the plug-in license. If you are hearing 2 different sounds with a slight delay between them, that is usually because you have monitoring turned on in your DAW. To monitor just the dry, setup a blank patch and mute any other tracks in your DAW.
  19. Yes. You can route the dry signal, the wet signal, or both to your DAW while monitoring the PODxt Pro's wet thru the PODxt Pro (an any other audio tracks enabled in your DAW). Or you can simply have an empty patch if you want to monitor the dry thru the PODxt Pro Regarding the bridge, are you referring to POD Farm plug-ins? The PODxt Pro does not come with a plug-in license, you can purchase it separately. If you purchase the Hardware Independent version (not i-Lok) you can return it within 30 days if you're not satisfied. The POD Farm 2.5x VST's are 64-bit compatible.
  20. Completely close out the AMPLIFi Remote App(double click home and discard active Remote App), forget the BT connection, then reconnect. If that doesn't work try reinstalling the app.
  21. I sure do hope they at least add the ability to flash via USB soon. The BT updates are brutal!! As for iOS vs Android or Mac vs PC, I am will to bet the ratio amongst musicians vs the general public is a bit different. Your viewpoint is what it is, but to view Line6 as thoughtless because a new product line is not currently supported on every platform is a bit extreme IMHO. My guess (this is pure speculation) is they wanted to be first to market with this concept and had to make some trade-offs.
  22. I've played it thru the FX Loop on a Spider MKII HD100 and it sound great. IT really warmed up the sound compared to my studio monitors. Best would be to try them out, but also consider how else you might use it now and down the road. An FRFR is great for modelers, but a nice tube amp could be great with out a modeler too!!
