Have you tried the 4-Cable Method setup described on pg9 of the POD Go manual? There are lots of threads here describing the 4CM a and its usage.

3.71 update -> 'Page right' button stopped working HX
silverhead replied to Thienpont's topic in Helix
I'm no electrician but it seems to me that if the power supply is failing it could be delivering an inconsistent voltage which causes interruptions in the performance of the Helix device. -
3.71 update -> 'Page right' button stopped working HX
silverhead replied to Thienpont's topic in Helix
If you reach the point when you want to investigate that behaviour I would start by testing the power supply that came with the device. -
See the New Effects section in the release notes

Try moving the expression pedal. The internal setting can be different from the physical position. The pedal can physically be at 100% while the internal setting is 0%. WARNING! Lower the volume before you move the expression pedal.

The Korean made JTV guitars are no longer being manufactured but the US models are still listed on the Products page (see top of this page). That suggests to me that you could order one at your local Line 6 retailer. Yes… very expensive, especially with shipping to Europe. Otherwise you need to look at your local used market.

It should only take a few milliseconds for any preset to load, so that’s not the issue. Are you talking about Factory presets? If not, where did the silent presets originate? Check the settings for the Input and Output blocks in the silent presets and make sure they match the physical input and outputs you are using. You could also try using headphones; are they silent there as well?

What Line 6 product are you using? I expect that it’s a Helix of some type since you reference v3.7 which is a recent Helix update. To install the new factory presets again you can perform a factory reset. Then Restore your pre-update backup, but select NOT to restore the Factory Setlist(s). A more detailed answer to your question will depend on the product. Please let us know.

Connection to macOS Monterey
silverhead replied to fedemallo's topic in Computer Audio Setup and Troubleshooting
I suggest you open a support ticket. Follow the Support tab at the top of this page. Same for the previous posters if you’re still around. -
Just to confirm …. Using my Helix Rack device as the audio interface I record both a wet and dry signal, using USB 1&2 for the wet recording and USB 7 (or 8) for the dry recording. I then import the preset I used for the wet signal into Helix Native and apply it to the recorded dry signal. I cannot hear any difference between the HN-processed dry track and the wet track. The difference you hear is due to your setup, as explained above.

[SOLVED] Can an effects block mute the signal when bypassed?
silverhead replied to joanesinu's topic in Helix
Since you are using a parallel path there is a split block. Using a Split A/B block you can entirely block the signal to one path or the other under different circumstances. You could assign that parameter to the Snapshot controller and assign the bypass of other blocks in the parallel path to the same Snapshot. Set up your snapshots accordingly. -
Can i use the PodXT Live to "Down Tune"
silverhead replied to Tcrumpen's topic in POD 2.0, POD XT, Pocket POD, FloorPODs
There’s nothing that you would find adequate. There may be a pitch shift effect that would allow you to detune up to an octave (not sure that the POD XT has this) but if there is it would be designed for monophonic shifting - a single note. It probably won’t be satisfactory for chords but you could try it. Also, unless your volume is very loud you will hear the standard tuning of the natural string vibrations. It will likely just be a mess. -
Follow the installation instructions that inform you that this is a normal and expected point in the process when updating from versions prior to v2.80. Here is there relevant quote from the installation procedures: If your Helix Floor/Rack/LT is currently running firmware 3.15 or older, halfway through the update to 3.70, Helix's LCD reads "Boot Failure. Entered Update Mode!" THIS IS NORMAL. Breathe deep, everything is fine. You're almost there. HX Edit will display a message indicating the device must be reset. Click resume and wait for the second part of the update to complete. However, having not done this here is how to proceed:

Using my DAW (Cubase) to switch presets & snapshots with midi
silverhead replied to SiriusVI's topic in Helix
Not sure I understand this sentence. When Helix is set as an Output device, then it is set to receive, not send, midi information from Cubase. Perhaps you want to set it as an Input device, meaning Cubase will receive midi commands sent by Helix. If Helix is set as both an Input and Output device for Cubase then perhaps hitting the footswitch sends Cubase a command which immediately gets sent back to Helix. If both Cubase and Helix have Midi Thru set to ON, an infinite loop is created. Turn Helix/Cubase midi thru OFF (see Global Settings on Helix). -
When I enter the search term 'slash' with the POD Go product filter I get 25 tones from Guns 'n Roses. Try clearing your browser cache and/or cookies.
-
What search term(s) are you using? I will try them on my device and see what happens. I see over 2,000 POD Go presets listed after selecting POD Go as the product. Pick a name from the list, and then search for it. Does it appear?

Did you also update the HX Edit program to v3.70?

[HD500X] How to stream mp3/wav playback using CD/MP3 IN?
silverhead replied to SethGecko's topic in POD HD
A further detail if it helps….. Incoming audio from the cd/mp3 input is analog. It is passed directly to the analog outputs without undergoing any A/D conversion. Hence it is not available in digital format for signal processing with the POD device, nor is it available to be sent over usb. -
What exactly are you trying to do? Are you using Mac or Windows? In order to have your Windows computer recognize your Helix you need to have the Line 6 Helix Driver installed. I’m not sure what you mean by “the helix doesn't show on the download screen as an available device.” You can install firmware, or download preset files, to the Helix device only by using the HX Edit program. I suggest you visit the Download section of this website (see link at top of this page) and begin by downloading and installing all components of the HX Edit v3.70 software package. Then connect your Helix via USB and run the HX Edit program. Follow all prompts if an available firmware update is noted.
