  1. No selling going on over here.......
  2. Yep, I'm tired of having mine on a table for programming. Much easier to have the laptop on my computer stand (tall enough to type/click while standing), and then be able to use foot pedals to test everything out when building/modifying patches. It's not that the Helix isn't easy to program on the interface, it's just better for those of us that are modding on the fly while at our DAW when recording, or doing a little adjustment on our presets. Oh well... at least I love the Helix itself! I can wait a few more impatiently.
  3. My presets don't seem to lag when switching between them. I guess I'm just lucky.
  4. The seismic coax monitors have a bass and treble pot that are at great frequency notches for me as well. For what I paid for them, they have been a very excellent solution for me.
  5. All I use is Helix into either my 15" Seismic Audio coaxial powered monitor, or sometimes I'll use my 12" version of the same coaxial monitor. Either or both works well. Basically, I tote a two guitar Mono gig bag, helix pedalboard case, gig bag, and a pole for the monitor. Easiest, most versatile rig I've ever had to setup.
  6. It's amazing what you can do with amp model and cab model advanced parameters (sag, mics, etc) to change the tone/behavior of an amp model chain. Can't wait for even more amp models in future firmware or expansion packs!
  7. Not Available Mother****ing Mother****er aCk!!! :P
  8. I guess the biggest issue for some is latency switching between presets.
  9. If they do ever arrive, I would imagine it will take awhile.
  10. This is where scenes would probably come into play...
  11. Hey, Beavis... he said "Theme From Shaft"... aCk!!! :D Don't even think about getting into effects of temperature, etc. on components. LoL!
  12. If you go Helix, you will find that you can make some very not sterile patches. As always, take the factory presets with a grain of salt... Some of them are good for starting points, but it's usually better to start with an amp/cab or amp/IR and put it together from there. Sometimes I'll use a factory preset and mod it if it has the particular effects I'm looking for. I did buy Glenn Delaune's patches and have made my own renditions of those by modding his. They are a REALLY nice starting point, or at least they were for me! I did the 36 month option awhile back just so I wouldn't have to dump all the cash at once. Cheap payments!
  13. I sold my Kemper and Axe FX II XL+ after having the Helix for about a week.
  14. Yeah, we're hoping they come out with some Mesa Mark tones
  15. Let us know how it sounds!
  16. Squeaky wheel gets the grease for sure! I'd ping them every day!
  17. Helix if you can afford it. I've owned both and prefer Helix hands down!
  18. If you want to sound close in the headphones to what you play amplified, most here would recommend using a powered full range monitor of some sort for FRGR. Then you can fully utilize the Helix amp models as they were meant to be heard.
  19. Thanks! It definitely marches to the beat of its own drum. I am getting some really nice tones out of it into the Helix! Plays like butter!
  20. Came in today!!! http://i1053.photobucket.com/albums/s476/glide86/Mobile%20Uploads/0211162044_zps9hlbkgei.jpg
