Mine aren't cheap, but I think they were geared more toward commercial music than flat response. Too boomy in the lows and fizzy in the highs. Any recommendations for true flat response headphones that won't completely break the bank?

Have the same problem with an FV-500H... I finally gave up and have ordered a Mission EP1-L6. I'll find out how that works next Tuesday (everyone here has success with this pedal since it's made for Line 6 products).

Hmmm... mine seems to work fine. I can jack up the feedback and echo "until the cows come home..."

I'm hoping the Mission EP1-L6 I just ordered works. I have a Mission EP1-Kemper and a Boss FV-500H, and both of those have the 0 to 100 to 0 problem. Doesn't matter if it's a TS or a TRS cable, they both do it. If I set the min vol pot on the FV-500H to max, then the pedal makes the helix volume go from 100 to 0 (inverse action) from heel to toe. TOTALLY screwed up!!! If this L6 Mission pedal doesn't work, then there's a problem with my Helix... *crosses fingers* I'll know next Tuesday when the new pedal gets here! Anyone else have this problem with these particular pedals?

I never did like my Helix into any of my headphones. Sounds way better into my 12" coaxial powered monitor. I've also plugged straight into a tube power amp and into a cab and gotten some great tones. For some reason, headphones just don't do it for me. I guess I'll have to go purchase some of those $200 types... LoL! Love my Helix, though! Many compliments on my live tone through my monitor and straight to JBL PA!!!

I had the Road King II head... was a nice amp. Brutally loud... but nice. I usually ran it with just a pair of tubes in 6L6 mode or EL34 mode.

Dangit... I was looking forward to playing with the new amp tonight.... :(

I love Glenn's patches for Helix!!! Only did a little tweaking for my own usage. Love the Mik Mars preset!!!

Repair Update: Line 6 stepped up to the plate and shipped my Helix back next day air UPS!!! I pick it up today from the local UPS store! That was a good thing! Saved me at least 4 days of Helix withdrawal syndrome. LoL!!!

Grats! Mine just got to Line 6 in Cali yesterday. Curious to see how long it takes for a helix to make its way back to South Carolina....

Don't you basically want to try to get one amp in each signal path (1 and 2) so that one processor handles one amp/cab and the 2nd one handles the second amp/cab when using two amp/cab models in a preset? Maybe have front of amp effects in path 1 with the 1st amp, then pass that into amp 2 with the post amp effects in path 2?

Mine should be delivered to Line 6 for repair today or tomorrow, so I'll find out how long it takes to fix soon. Then there's the waiting for UPS ground from California to South Carolina... DoHHH
