I have two problems folks: 1. Has anyone else had a problem with making the Auto Volume model work properly on the second bank of presets? 2. Is anyone aware of a way to achieve spillover between presets?

Is there a way to change the ascending and desending order that the bank arrows control? It makes more sense to me to use up arrow to go from bank 2 to bank 1 rather than have the up arrow move me to bank 3.

The spider remote has 4 user banks. How do I save a preset to one of those banks. Thank you.

I made this list of Patches even though its in the Firehawk App, so I can take notes on what I like, dislike, want to delete, ect, So if you are interested feel free to copy it. Hi totally new here I've been searching around and can't find what I think should be a simple answer in plan english. I used to have an M13 where in latch mode you can load like 12 completely different presets at once. I am looking into buying a 500X but it looks like you can only have 4 presets loaded at once with another four "assigned" pedals for the top row? Is that right? It seems limiting?

Hi all, I just bought a Firehawk FX and had a question about changing tones and banks on the iOS app vs on the pedal itself. When I change tones on the pedal, the app will reflect the change and highlight the active tone. However, when I change them through the app, the sound will change, but the pedal does not reflect it. For example, say I have the pedal set to bank 1, tone A and switch A is illuminated . Then I scroll down and choose tone D from bank 4 in the app. The sound will change, and the pedal's LED display shows the correct name, but switch A is still illuminated. If I then step on any of the other footswitches, A-D, the tones default back to bank 1, or whichever bank the pedal was last set to through the switches. So I effectively can't change the bank in the Firehawk app, and then choose a preset tone from that bank with the footswitches. Is this normal?

I originally planned on using setlists for different, um, sets. And then I’d select different banks for different songs, 16 banks is plenty for my sets. Then, within a song, a can select ABCD patches for different parts of the song – clean, crunch, lead, and maybe a high-gain lead or something. Then I also have FX 1, 2, 3 & 4 when I need something special for each of the 4 ABCD sounds. Sounds like a plan. I decided to save one of the 1,2,3,4 slots by relying on amp models for my distortion, like selecting between Soldano clean, crunch, and high gain. That way, I select ABCD for the type of distortion and use 1234 for delay, chorus, tremolo, and some other effect (compression, noise gate, reverb are always on – no need for a 1234 switch on those). The problem I’m finding is it takes 15msec for a new ABCD patch to load in (I measured it). This is too long. I can’t always anticipate the timing to punch it in, or I don’t have that much time. The audio is muted during this 15msec and you hear it when I switch between, say, clean rhythm to scorching lead. So, now I’m thinking about going back to 1-8 FX buttons and just bank selecting between songs. But then I’m stuck with a single amp model, which is workable I suppose by using more of the FX buttons to switch in different distortion FX, but not as flexible. So my question for the group is: what is your strategy in using setlists, banks, ABCD patches, and 1234 switches. How do you use them? Are you stuck with a single amp model for a given song? How do you overcome the 15msec audio mute when switching ABCD patches? When do you use ABCD patches and when do you use 1234 FX switches? Thanks for any insight you can provide me.

Hi guys, I'm wondering how I can save presets to my shortboard mkii? I'm using it in combination with a Spider IV 75 and do most of my edits in the edit software on my mac. On the product page of the shortboard is says but I can't find a way to save any preset the the board. Anyone knows how to do this? Thanks!

I think it would very useful if users of the Firehawk had the option to assign pre-programmed tones to the top row of foot-switches FS1 – FS5. Effectively giving users 9 pre-set patches per bank. I guess this would mean losing the ability to turn stomps on and off on banks programmed in this way. Perhaps this could be an option per bank? So you either have, 4 patches with stomps on a bank… OR … 9 pre-set patches on a bank. To me it seems a relatively simple idea that could hopefully be included in a firmware update? I have submitted this on ideascale. For example, set StageScape M20d to Stage View and your iPad to Fader View and bank through faders simply by touching icons on the stage. It’s a faster, more intuitive experience than you get with other digital consoles. sounds cool, never thought about it.

when you switch a bank, select a tone while the bank numeral is flashing or the bank will switch back to the prior bank. Sounds simple, but my assumption was that all you had to do was to press A&B or C&D and the bank would change...and then you would select a tone - one thing at a time. Actually, I still think that's how it should work, but now at least I know. After 5 videos and the quick start guide, when I still couldn't make it change, I assumed it was a bug and returned it. After the 2nd one, I watched a few more videos and found what I was looking for. A real manual would have helped.

Now that the Amplifi App offers 25 "Banks" of 4 presets … I was wondering if anyone could confirm if the FBV Shortboard MkII Pedal allows you to scroll thru / access the multiple Banks?…. I currently have the MkII Mini but there is no Bank selection footswitch so I have no access to the newly provided Banks via the amp or pedal and can only access these banks by pressing a selection on the app (iPad or iPhone) itself, which is not the best option for playing live… Long story short … Trying to figure out the best way to be able to access all Banks on the Amplifi 150 / Amplifi App via a foot-controller … (or if these banks can be accessed by any combination of buttons being pressed on the Amp itself?) I have 5 banks filled with patches which used to work perfectly fine. Now all four patches of the first bank work fine, but when I change bank, like to the second one, there is no sound from any patch, even in the third bank, only the third patch of the 3rd bank has sound, and only the second and third patches of the the fourth bank has sound, this is a really weird problem, I have never faced this before. But when I connect the unit through POD HD Edit software and double press any patch from any bank, there is perfect sound. I have tried reinstalling firmware, but nothing has helped. Please help?
