  1. Hello everyone, I have some trouble understanding what "parameters" refers to in the guide, and which of those can be changed in snapshots. I know that snapshots lets you toggle blocks on and off, but is it also possible to change the value of some of the parameters within a block (let's say, the amount of distorsion, the amount of delay etc), or the global volume of the preset (the one you see when pressing multi) ? I tried it and when I change something within a block, it automatically changes it in all the other snpashots as well.
  2. Had my Helix for a few days. Is there a way, other than the expression pedal to modulate parameters ? My Boss GT100 could do this & I assumed Helix would but I cant see anything to do this. Thanks!!

    Helix Scale Delay Parameter

On the Helix all of the stereo delays (except the ping pong) have a true stereo path. The left and right sides are fully separate signal paths. The delay time of the left side of the signal is set by the delay time knob/parameter. The delay time of the right side is set by the scale parameter as a percentage of the left delay time. When scale is at 100%, the right side delay time matches the left side. Then, as the scale parameter is reduced, the right side delay time gets shorter on a percentage basis. For instance, let's say the delay time is set at 1 second. If the scale parameter is at 75%, then the right side delay time will be 750 ms (milliseconds). If the scale is at 50%, the right side will be 500 ms, and so on. The reason this is done is because these stereo delays are often used for rhythmic effect. Having the scale parameter set the right side as a percentage of the left side allows for the delay timing between the right and left sides to stay proportional when the main delay time is changed.
  4. Has anyone been using Pedal Edit mode a lot? Seems to be the way to go for fine tuning while playing. Thanks to Digital Igloo for his pinned info. I just keep going back and re-reading then applying so I can retain. I am also finding that using the amps, preamps, and cabs seem to have me relying less on distortion and getting better sound by merely rolling the guitars vol & tone knobs while using pick attack for pushing the limit or sweetening the clean sound. Hmm, the more I learn the more I learn  Dennis
  5. Hi All! I am building a preset in Helix Native and cannot for the life of me figure out how to change a parameter for just one snapshot. Example: I have an IR block that applies to all 5 of my snapshots. However, when switching to a clean sound, I want to boost the Level of the IR a few dB. I know on my Helix Floor, I just push in the parameter knob and it turns that value white. Can this be done in Native? Thanks!!!
  6. First post. Using hx. So when using reverbs (or any effect), it would make sense to me if the parameters displayed in the first window were those that were most often used, like depth (or mix) and decay. I often like to change parameters on the fly, but i have to spill out all the parameters and the one i want is often on the second or third window. I'd like it if my most changed parameters were on the first window, so that i could use knobs 1-3 to quickly adjust things like depth, mix or decay. Instead when I click on Glitz reverb, the parameters that show up are decay, predelay, and low cut. I'm not in the habit of adjusting predelay or low cut very often, but I change decay, mix, depth all the time. What I would really like is if I could choose which parameters show up in the first window. Any suggestions here?
  7. HEY SO IVE ASSIGNED A CONTROLLER TO A WAH FILTER THAT I HAVE ASSIGNED TO FOOTSWITCH , BUT WHEN I USE THE PEDAL/CONTROLLER IT CHANGES MY OTHER EFFECTS PARAMETERS LIKE DISTORTION AND CHORUS LEVELS AT DIFFERENT FOOTSWITCH LOCATIONS. IVE GONE IN AND MANUALLY RESET THEM TO MY PREFERENCE AND TURNED THE CONTROLLER 'OFF' FOR THOSE EFFECTS/FOOTSWITCHES BUT IT KEEPS HAPPENING. IVE PUT THE WAH BLOCK AT THE END OF THE SIGNAL FLOW BUT STILL THE SAME. ANY HELP???? MUCH APPRECIATED?? FIRST TIME HERE SO SORRY IF THIS POST IS WRONG AREA. PLEASE LMK. THANX.
  8. I have a Spider IV 120 and a FBV Shortboard MKII. The FBV is connected to my computer via USB and I'm using the Line 6 FBV Control software. I want to assign the built in expression pedal that is typically controlling volume on my Spider or the external expression pedal "PEDAL 2" to whatever it is that controls the "FX3" "Mix" parameter on the Spider. In other words, I want to control the level of the mix parameter on the delay effect via one of those continuous controllers. I see things in the list like "002 - Breath Control" and "080 General Control 8", but which one of those things controls that delay mix parameter, and where do I look that up for the Spider IV 120? See attached screenshot. Thanks in advance for any help you offer!
  9. In the AMPLIFi Remote editor, there are 10 effects blocks that you can turn on and off, and assign different models and parameters to. Some of them can be dragged to different locations, some can't. Of these ten blocks, only three of them can be assigned as: Drives and Dynamics Mods Delays Filters, Synths and Pitch A quick way to tell which three can be assigned these effects types is that they have a border around them: Notice Stomp, Synth and Mod all are bordered. However, Reverb is selected, so its border is brighter. Here's how to change the effect type of those three blocks: 1. Select one of the three blocks by touching it. In this example, we'll select Stomp. 2. The effect will then show the effect type (in this case, "stomp"), the effect name ("Facial Fuzz"), and a power button to the right to turn the effect on or off. Touch the effect type to change it. 3. You'll then see a "Type" button. Touch it. 4. The block types then appear. Choose one. 5. Lastly, select an effect and touch OK. 6. The block has been changed. There is no restriction on the number of similar effect types or effects assigned to these three blocks. Three stomps, each with a Fuzz Pi on it? Knock yourself out! Just don't forget to save your tone (cloud icon, then disc icon).
