700 electric is pre HD so that would be a problem. And unplug any USB hubs when updating or using Workbench. And remember, Workbench HD doesn't work with original Variax like the 700.

Did you update the Helix while the 89 was still plugged in with the VDI cable? If so, connect the 89 to the computer using the Line 6 Variax interface device and cable, bring up Workbench and save any patches you want to keep, then re-Flash the Firmware.

The piezos are nice and sensitive, chosen for their frequency response and mechanical-to-electrical transfer characteristics. Also using string gauge sets like 10's and 11's helps. 9's tend to be too light for good acoustical transfer.

This also works for piezos. Alcohol on a cotton swab, let it drip on the piezo, then blow it out with canned air. The saddle that the piezo sits in acts as the chassis ground/return for the individual piezo signal path. Sometime dust or debris can get in there and cause an intermittent connection. If that doesn't fix it, then it should be check by a Line 6 authorized service center that has experience with this product. No,... apparently we don't have a photo team at the distribution hub for individual photos. That greener one they call Antique Ash. The one, second from the right in the one sheet I think is the Swamp Ash and I don't see any on the web store at the moment. The one to right of that I think is the Trans Black and there's one on the web store. The colors are very close to what is seen online. I'm the guy that services these guitars, so I know the color of the finish is very consistent between individual guitars.

As far as I know, those are individual photos of individual guitars from our web store. I'll double check on that.
