Tremolo for a Variax 700 Electric won't fit in a Standard bridge. Workbench HD is compatible with Mac OS 10.11.6 El Capitan. - Disconnect any USB hub connected to the computer. - Make certain the interface is connected directly between guitar and computer. - Insert a fully charged battery into Variax battery compartment. - Insert a tip/ring/sleeve 1/4" headphone adapter into the 1/4" jack. - Once the relay clicks and both LED's are green, then you are ready to go.

And course, remember and reminder,... Line 6 does not support modifications to it's products. It's possible that effect was modeled that way to reflect the real effect it's modeled from. I have effects in my DAW like that, one can select what the modulator is, and some are not symmetrical. Best not. These are picky amps. If it were analog, I'd say fine. But this is a half analog, half digital hybrid that has to talk nice to each half. If the characteristic curve goes into the nonlinear region too soon, it can distort in a way the digital section won't like, then problems can occur. Stick with the EH or Sovtek, as they are both made at the same factory, owned by Mike Mathews of EH. EH labeled go through extra tests to be part of the premium grade tubes.

Yes, Electro-Harmonix 12AX7EH, medium, is fine. It's just more than you need, their premium version. The "medium" has to do with the soft/medium/hard aspect, has to do with the proportion of inert gas verses vacuum in the tube. Normally, it wouldn't matter,... for an "all analog" tube that is.
