I'm sure this has been asked before but I can't seem to find the answer What is recommended when you are running 2 DT's and a Stage source speaker in terms of order? Which one should come first, second and third out of the Pod? Does it matter? Thanx

Helix not being full compatible with the DT line of amps may say something about the future of the DT series amp. The good folks of Line 6 are pretty smart and I can't believe that they simply over looked that their new flagship processor does not completely work with their flagship amp. THE main selling point of the DT amps was the topology switching. I've got 2 DT amps and an L2M for acoustic work. I don't know that Helix can even run all 3 let alone the topology switching on the DT's. As nice as Helix looks, as nice as it sounds, as nice, as nice, as nice as it is, it's a step backwards for DT owners. Please vote for DT compatibility. And I don't mean some firmware update where I have to spend hours reflashing, uploading, recalibrating, rebooting, blah, blah, blah! My wish is for an all new addition to the Helix line. The Helix DT. Or a DT Helix amp. I'm patient. I'll wait with money in hand!

As soon as Line 6 expands Helixs ability to fully control it's fantastic DT series amps via L6 link, then hooking up 4 amps is a snap with no noise at all!

Sure thing! The speaker will go to the setting i am attempting to save. It just won't stay on that setting for more than 1/2 sec before switching back to Reference/PA. Can't Figure it out and unfortunately, the Line 6 team is of little help. Actually, they haven't responded at all to my requests for help.

Thanx. I've tried everything. I can't get the L to save anything no matter how I try to save it. It's a bummer. Why advertise this feature and then give no support on how to actually make it work?

I mic it. I am having no luck at all with saving my L2M settings. When I try to save the acoustic mode, on recall of the patch, the acoustic mod indicator light will light of a split second and then immediately change to reference /PA. I've been asking for help on this one for a while with no joy. Glad your able to make it work.

That's great that you've got it dialed in. Are you able to save your L series settings? That is my new problem. I can't get the speaker to save to the acoustic setting.. I never had volume issues with the Pre's and the DT after I learned how to use it. Are you mostly a Hi gain player?

Ok...I've tried to go direct from the pod to the L2M. Still unable to save my L2M settings. What I have tried: Turn on the pod first Turn on the L2M first Every configuration of linking: HD-->DT-->Pod etc... Every method of saving Every amp config Every input output config Firmware up to date I call up the patch, set the L2M to acoustic hit save. I go to another patch (or reboot, turn off/on the L2M etc). When I return to the "saved" patch, the L2M indicator light will stop for a nano second on the setting that was supposed to be saved then immediately jump to the "reference PA" setting. This happens no matter what L2M setting I attempt to save. If I set the L to monitor and hit save, on return to the saved patch, the L will briefly stop on monitor then return to reference. What am I missing?

DT users speak up if you want to integrate the new and awesome Helix into your set up! Line 6 does listen! Let your voice be heard and vote!!!! Let's see if we can get 100 votes by the end of June!

Could not agree with you more! Though some people swear by it, it just sounds anemic to me.

These are fun blurbs and all but it sucks that no one in the know, none of the beta testers, none of the employees, no one has anything to say. Nothing to add, no insight, NOTHING about the future of the DT series amp or the future support and future development of The Dream Rig. Again, I am happy with what I got but I like it so much that I would welcome any future product that would enhance my rig. Would be glad to pay good money for it as well! In the mean time, we can continue pouring liquids on our pods and feel good that it still works. I would prefer a new Pod HD1000 and a new DT50X amp. Until then, I'll pour a Jamba Juice on my pod just to cheer when it turns on! Fun Times!

what are your thought about the lack of DT compatability?

Wth the release of Amplifi and now Helix, none of which enhances The Dream rig, could it be that we have come to the end of the road? No worries if we have. I can get everything I need from my JTV, HD500 and DT50, DT25 and L2M but MAN.... how cool would it be to get something that was totally and specifically dedicated to taking the Dream Rig over the top!

Amen! The beauty of the Dream rig is 2 cables. A VDI and the L6 link. Please don't give up on us Dream Riggers. I got a pocket full of money ready to spend on a unit that will take my Dream Rig to the next level. Helix, as sexy as it is, ain't it. It seems to me that the question is this....Does Line 6 have plans to continue supporting the Dream Rig concept? It seems that Helix was not designed with the DT amps in mind. Sure it has the L6 link and a place for a Variax, but it ignored the very thing that makes the Dt amps unique, reconfiguring the power amp section on the fly. I like my set up as is. Not complaining at all. But if the Dream rig is done, if the DT amps are done and by done I mean no plans to develop products that take advantage of the DT'S/Dream Rigs unique ability to/for... Topology switching Class A/AB selection Running up to 4 DT amps Etc....etc.... Just tell us! That way when we are eagerly awaiting new stuff from Line 6, we Dream Riggers/ DT owners won't be so disappointed in being somewhat left out of the equation. I don't want some complicated work around. I want something that is developed and designed for my "Flagship" set up.

The 1969 Marshall Plexi is done! It's what, 46 years old? On to the next. Oh wait...you'd like to keep that 1969 Plexi? Why? Ah, cause it's a good amp and you'd like to continue using it. That makes sense. IdeaScale vote? DONE! As I went to cast my thumbs up vote on IdeaScale, it became clear to me that if Helix isn't capable of running my complete dream rig, then I'm out! My rig sounds great and it only makes sense to me to add gear that enhances what my rig is currently capable of doing. It seems to me that at this point Helix, as much as I am wanting to purchase two of them, Helix falls short. Without topology switching, Helix is taking away from my rig instead of expanding it. So sad
