My bad, after hours of agony with the pick squeak noise I found my neck pickup micro phonic. All is good except I have yo get a new pickup.

So is divided duo. Equal divided by 13 ?

So you assign a delay to one of your foot switches. Then you want to remove it. How do you go about removing it.

Ok, so why don't I have this divided by 13 amp cab? Where do you find it?

It could be your pickups? I run my les Paul with custom bucker pickups and it sounds huge I run my ibanez as93 (es335 knockoff) and every patch feels compressed and hollow.

Oh I also have an amplify150. And the helix blows it away. No contest! Now I don't ever use headphones for anything they don't transfer tone creation very well for live playing. You have to set up your tones to your gigging monitor FOH volume, IMO

So, I had one of the first helix, I also was not happy with things not working properly, I sent it back...... But I kept wondering if something was just not right with that unit. So I reordered.. WELL THIS NEW ONE SOUNDS AND WORKS AMAZING! I run les Paul to helix to mackie 350v2 on a pole. My xlr cable is a 100 ohm, run xlr mono out to mackie. It seems to get better tone thru that cable for me than standard xlr cable. It doesn't take much even to make the factory presets sound good just fiddle with amp eq, gain and change mics and distance and boom. But just make your own to taste or buy great patches from people on this forum. When I play live I set my mackie in front of me as my wedge monitor but when I try to make presets I run it on a poll so it gets pretty close tone wise as FOH speakers suspended. Cheers

Yeah I use 1.0 dunlops round side edge. Just get a squeak here and there and wasn't sure if there was something I was missing in getting rid of that high pitch attack pick noise.

So I get some pick attack/squeak noise on some presets. Is there any way to get rid of this? Using normal nylon Dunlop picks. Les Paul guitar.

On the amplify you have to have the unit connected to your app via Bluetooth. Go to settings and you should be able to see your app and tt or amplify firmware

Phil m just look at the completed listings. This is just the tip of the iceberg.. These are the ones purchasers were on the fence keeping and missed their return window. Now putting them on eBay. not to mention the hot potatoes sweetwater has been dumping on here from returns.

eBay is getting cluttered with helix units for sale from disgruntled purchasers. So if you can't wait go yo eBay.

How about making the helix gig worthy, instantaneous preset switching, fade out of previous preset. how about phantom power blocker already installed. I see a lot of great ideas on this forum but the helix is a slow switching dinasaur and some other major issues on stage. I felt like this wasn't much faster than my turtle amplify 150 with shortboard when it comes to preset switching. My 500x is just a little better. If all you do is play in your house or record the helix is fine. Outside of that, not so much.

This it what makes me so mad! Doesn't line 6 make their products for the real gigging musician. The helix was supposed to be the holy grail for gig and go. But it's slow preset changes and the issues above make me wonder who test these things. Bedroom only players? Come on line 6! Sorry just ranting.

Don't get me wrong I'm a long time line 6 user from the initial day. Just couldn't cope with some things and issues. Maybe later I'll get another one but for now going a different route. And who knows that could end the same way.

Well, I returned mine. I purchased to early. Will wait till more things have been addressed. Will be trying out the Kemper soon.

The switching delay is not acceptable with a unit of this price. Playing live you have to quickly mute strings change presets, Then start playing again it's a lot to think about in a split second. If your a bedroom player maybe not so much. I'm just about out!

how about faster preset switch time for the live player. Spillover when switching. its almost like line 6 doesn't think we play out with there stuff.

So, how does the clr compare to your l2t?

Don't get me wrong, the helix is a a great unit. But for those who like to have a great clean sound, then there dist is made from a different amp cab block etc, and maybe someother patch the song my dictate. The preset switching is slow and no subtle spillover between patches. This might be something firmware updates can't fix due to the way the patches run thru the helix circuitry, otherwise why didn't they fix the slow switching on other units. but, I hope I'm wrong.

My friends Kemper has no delay. The cool thing with the Kemper is it slightly fades out the first patch into the second. Seemless. I'm reconsidering my purchase. Like the poster before line 6 seems to not get this. My amplify is horrible in time it takes to switch, my hd500x was just ok. Helix slower than my hd. What gives.

Yeah the hard choice on eBay or like, its a lot of money to spend to loose the 30 day return policy and in some cases extended warranty. Just to save a little.
