  1. i think that it is a self test mode. with the function selected, press the view button. when the buttons function is selected. press all buttons. you should see a change in status 0-1. when all the buttons are tested, the previous screen will return and a P will appear to indicate pass. then move to the next function. turn the pots fully left and right, don't forget the output for recording on the back. a couple tests happen automatically. are you sure you are pressing and holding the left navigation while powering on? you are holding the down arrow. you must hold the left arrow

  6. i would say it is defective and needs to be replaced. but you can save the patch with the middle where you want it, then park the knob at zero (all the way ccw) and recall the patch. parking the knob at zero may stop it from changing. this requires dis-assembly; clean the pot with electronics spray cleaner

  8. take a small wooden stick and tap lightly on the tubes. you shouldn't here the tapping through the speaker

  15. try doing a global reset on your pro. hold the left navigational key down while turning the pod on
