i think the tuner button got some dirt in it. keep working it, maybe it'll stop acting up. about the tuner not muting, Tuner Volume - You can adjust the tuning volume of your POD by turning the Chan Vol knob while the tuner is active (this doesn’t affect the volume of your not-in-tuner-mode POD sound). Alternatively, if you have a Floor Board connected, the volume pedal will control the tuner volume, too.

Power Supply To Power Multiple Line 6 Products?
toneman2121 replied to FlyingSquirrel's topic in Line 6 Lounge
there are very few retailers who sell power supplies rated for use with the xt or the hd. you can find p.s.'s capable of ac and dc, but none rated for the xt or hd. -
Should I Jump From A Vetta To A Dt50/hd500 Setup?
toneman2121 replied to ChuckSteak01's topic in DT50 / DT25
i've consulted my accountant, lawyer and analyst. my accountant advised against it. my lawyer said if i get one we can still sue regardless of the disclaimer and my analyst said you're both crazy  -
if any body noticed, rss feed button is now available in the lower left corner

i can't offer any advice on dis-assembly but i'm fairly certain there's a way to remove it without resorting to destruction. can you photograph it?

Best Amp For Podxt Live
toneman2121 replied to lespaulphase90's topic in POD 2.0, POD XT, Pocket POD, FloorPODs
i'm very sorry you guys over there have to go through mother natures wrath. i can't imagine being in it. seeing this on tv is scary. forgive me for asking, is that the tornado a mile wide with 200 mph winds? i think there is no best amp, only one that you like. however, when running the xtl through an amp with an fx loop, effectively bypasses the preamp section, letting the xtl operate as the amps pre. so pick one with an fx loop. or you could look at a power amp only and cabinet. all depends on how fat your wallet is. p.s. do you already have an xtl? if not, you should look into the hd500. along with the line6 dt25 or dt50 amps. probably some where around $1500 -
have you tried to re-flash the memory?

Fixing Damage To Frets Jtv89f
toneman2121 replied to Leftzilla's topic in James Tyler Variax Guitars / Workbench HD
since it's relatively new, replace it. if it was older, there might be a noticeable height difference due to wear, in which case, a luthier would be able to determine to replace or dress. point being moot. -
try this. with your 300 connected to your computer via usb and the power off, open monkey. select drivers and download. when the update tells you to connect, turn the300 on.

i would not buy from craigs list simply because recently, a forum member got one and is having trouble registering. http://line6.com/support/topic/733-cannot-register-pod-hd500-extremely-angry-i-am-screwed/. that's not to say that the one you get would have the same problem. in addition, if the seller has already registered it, you must ensure he deletes his registration or you'll run into trouble. don't buy it without trying it. still that doesn't cover everything if your not familiar with the operation. how much are you saving? why is the person selling after having it such a short time? if he tells you he doesn't like it or it's not giving him what he wants, than he doesn't know how to use it or he didn't use it enough. it might not be the best, top of the line modeler, but it is very good. with some knowledge and some experimenting, you will get excellent results. warranty info http://line6.com/support/docs/DOC-4838
