  1. you most likely need to bet pod farm 1.x pod farm 2.x is a paid license in alot of cases.
  2. there is a microphone and an instrument input right on the front, as well as the line in on the rear (that can be switched to instrument/line as needed) all very easy to see in the pictures on the product page: http://line6.com/podhdprox/ the hd500/hd500x has an aux input which is a second instrument input.
  3. try holding one of the other buttons when you click it... not sure which one... either alt cmd or option though.... i don't have a spider amp, but i've been able to install alot of other line6 programs into mavericks with no problem.
  4. support does not generally view the forums... just other users... but this isn't even your thread, and we have no idea if the original poster is unable to install due to the same issue... or something completely different... or maybe they even already figured it out...
  5. you have to go to sysprefs/security and tell it to allow software from anywhere... by default it is restricted to known vendors and the app store. thats from memory... so it may be a little off... but that's the general idea...
  6. I thought you tried different cables... certainly want one with all 8 pins.
  7. you probably need to find an older used x3. there may still be some trade off, because the x3 will allow you to use pod farm 1 tones, but you may have to modify tones created on pod farm 2.x you can do dual inputs on the newer pod hd's but you'd be starting completely over as far as tones go.
  8. highly unlikely, although they may provide you with details on the switch and their parts source, and you could ask them. Line6 almost certainly will not have any parts available that they do not use on their factory models.
  9. the latest pod farm 2.5x is a free update for you... i'd get that first.
  10. still has a warranty at 3 months... take it to a service center.
  11. try windows update? I want to say that it uses the 2008 C++ or some other optional language addon.... just an idea..
  12. I'm reasonably confident that there are no new JTV's in the works...
  13. you probably just needed to run the license manager for pod farm 2, probably a little late for that now.
  14. they can all have the same... depends on the firmware...
  15. it sounds like a pin issue... but perhaps it just a defective FBV.
  16. your blackstar cable should work... hopefully the company will send you one.
  17. check the ports on both, potentially you have a damaged jack.
  18. it will surely translate into your native currency... the exact amount depends specifically on your banks exchange rate.
  19. This thread was resolved and marked answered long ago. if you have a bad interface contact support. http://line6.com/support/tickets/
  20. ok... but the basis of the thread is not about the usb interfaces... and a bad interface is not a bug... its a bad interface. you're the one arguing... i'm giving you facts.
  21. i'd still try and call line6 get those accounts all lumped together, so you can have one account with all the goodies... life will be easier going forward.
  22. the broken interface apparently does not correctly apply the update... because if it did workbench HD would work through the interface. the other limitation has already been admitted.... and you could have applied the update via pod... just not use workbench. anyway.... no sense in arguing... the pod limitation will eventually be addressed and your interface has already been addressed from the sounds of it.
  23. you're drawing a whole lot of conclusion from your own personal experience... myself and many others have perfectly working interfaces... sorry that obviously wasn't the case for you... not much showstopper IMO, since i could update with the pod and never touch workbench, and still been very happy with the quality of v2.0 if you have no pod and only a broken interface... then yes it was a showstopper. but i'd not say that affected the majority of users.
