One of the experts here: Karl, has fallen madly in love with his DT25 head and DT50 cabinet. either way i think the perception would be that yes is the answer, partially due to raising the speakers though... but you will the room better with additional cabinets.. and that's one definition of full.... give it a try.

not possible... the workaround it to put the fx loop into your acoustic tones and send the out to your PA (1/4") this will bypass the output modes. the native xlr and 1/4" outputs send the same signal.

M20d Driver For Linux Request
TheRealZap replied to wersonnst's topic in StageScape Mixer / StageSource Speakers
it's not an audio interface... if you look over the forums you will find many unhappy users that tried to do this.. with supported drivers... you're doing it the best way right now. -
mki works for everything except updating and using the pc with your amp.. if you just want to control the amp mk1 is good enough.
-
get the service center to order the parts and call you when they come in... use the amp in the meantime, and likely not too long of a wait once the parts are in hand.
-
I'm sure they can be purchased and replaced... i don't have any details, except that calling a service center or line6 directly would be where i'd start.
-
i would inspect the input jack on the fbv mk2, you may have a bent pin... also worth trying another cable too.

Pod Hd Desktop And Fbv Shortboard Mk1 Led Lights Fs1-fs4
TheRealZap replied to ogiogi's topic in POD HD
are you sure that the effects are assigned to those footswitches? might need to check edit. -
you have to tell the delay to use the tap tempo... should be an easy setting to spot in the edit program.
-
thats how it should work the difference is that the DT50 is a dedicated 12ax7 tube doing the boosting, and the DT25 is some solid state variation.
-
if its within 30 days swap it out.. maybe we just got unlucky?

i've seen what he's talking about on all of mine (and i've had all of them but the 400) cant make it out in the pictures though... its more of a texture thing.
-
I believe that it's part of the design and that they are all like this... would not surprise me if the pictures you've seen that didn't appear to have this were touched up... it's designed to be stepped on, so i don't see much point in making it flawlessly pretty... i always thought that they looked more rugged and military like than pretty... and in my opinion it's a nice change from the plastic x3 generation.

Yeah totally sounds like the usb dropout issue. very frustrating trust me... i remember it all too well. i had the hardware fix done at the time and was made much happier. they are officially ending support for the x3 january 1st. if i was you i would open a support ticket and see if you can get them to fix it. despite the hassles it will be worth it... maybe they can let you hang onto it and call you when the parts available?
-
from the sounds of things, you might be better off just getting an addon use card for your computer... the problem surfaces with certain chipset usb ports... there was never a definitive good/bad chipset list... but users occasionally reported back on what was working, and i seem to recall that many had luck with NEC chipset cards. anyway.. painless solution at around 20$... although you may have to try a couple of different ones. also there are 2 specific issues... the "audio dropout" which was fixed with a firmware issue... and your issue the "usb dropout" or "usb audio dropout" just clarifying in case someone finds this in a search later... and yes you are correct... none of your x3 tones would work on the HD pods.

i believe that the are indentations made by the studs inside the case... that basically bolt the internal boards to the inside of the device.

Foot Pedals For Spider 112
TheRealZap replied to cstevens5918's topic in FBV Controllers (MKI / MKII / 3)
you need the old floorboard or the FB4 (NOT the FBV4) for that amp. its in the manual here: http://l6c.scdn.line6.net/data/6/0a060b316ac34f0593561ea81/application/pdf/Spider%20User%20Manual.pdf you'll likely have to find this on ebay. -

A New Variax Bass
TheRealZap replied to Price010's topic in James Tyler Variax Guitars / Workbench HD
you'd be in more total midi turf than modeling i think... the physics of guitar strings vs bass strings make accurate modeling a stretch. i've come up with a few "in a pinch" type sounds... but never anything accurate for bass tracking. -
Are The Topologies Hard Coded To The 8 Locations
TheRealZap replied to aggravation's topic in DT50 / DT25
its for this reason that i tend to use channel A for my lower gain stuff and B for the higher gain stuff... otherwise a topo change can take yer friggin head off. -
Yes, same as you would with the older variax.
