Have you contacted Line 6 support? They should be able to look up if the Native discount that was associated with your Helix was actually used. If it wasn't you would be eligible to use it.
-
If it's working in Logic and Edit is working, it sounds like you just need to set the POD Go as your audio device for your Mac. https://support.apple.com/en-gb/guide/mac-help/mchlp2256/10.15/mac/10.15

As stated above, that’s a global setting. You can also change their function by holding them down together for a few seconds. They’ll scroll to the next function. They can Bank, Preset or Snapshot Up/Down.
-
If you download and install POD Go Edit 1.11, that installation package will install everything you need. The latest drivers are included in that. You shouldn’t need Line 6 Updater as you can update through POD Go Edit itself.

Well this is interesting...Headrush 112 and Alesis Strike Amp 12
phil_m replied to Lone_Poor_Boy's topic in Helix
Alesis, Alto and Headrush are all inMusic brands. -
The text that qwerty42 quoted is from an article on the KnowledgeBase here. It’s correct. It’s been confirmed multiple times by Line 6 employees over the years. As I mentioned, the manual isn’t really wrong, just ambiguous. Most people would probably use TS cables because that’s what the have around. TRS may be better because you get the common mode noise reduction mentioned in the KnowledgeBase article.

All the 1/4” outs on all the Helix and HX devices are TRS impedance balanced. As far as the manual, I know it’s nit picky, but I don’t believe it explicitly says the output is TS. I think it says something like, “connect a TS cable...”. But I understand it’s a bit unclear. The nice thing about impedance balanced outs is that they act like balanced outs when connected to a balanced input (with a balanced cable, of course) and an unbalanced out when connected to an unbalanced input. But unlike a true balanced out, you don’t get the 6dB drop when connecting them to an unbalanced input.

It shouldn’t make a difference, no... Have you tried different cables?

Has anyone tried the new 1.06 firmware for there G10T
phil_m replied to PsychoPops's topic in Relay Digital Wireless
1.19 is the latest version of Line 6 Updater. Once you have your G10 connected to it, it will find and download the correct flash file. -
When you say “through your computer”, what speakers are you using?
-
Do a factory reset. Hold down all three footswitches while powering up, and you’ll be good to go.
-
Are you running the latest firmware? In the 2.90 update, a command called HX Snapshot was added to the Command Center. So to assign a snapshot to a footswitch, go to the Command Center, go to the switch you want to assign the snapshot to, select the HX Snapshot command, select the footswitch behavior, and then select the snapshot you want to assign to that footswitch. You will need to this in every preset you want to use this behavior in.
-
You can’t select different amp or cab models with snapshots, buy you can select different IRs if you’re using an IR instead of the Line 6 cab.

Lenghten the time before the G10 enters standby mode
phil_m replied to tonyamme's topic in Relay Digital Wireless
There’s no way to adjust the standby time. If you’re going to be silent for a long period, the best option may be simply unplugging the transmitter while you’re not playing.- 2 replies

HX Edit doesn’t really have the same sort of footswitch for normal bypass and controller functions as POD Go Edit does. If you go to the Command Center, you can assign commands to the footswitches and see what footswitches have commands programmed to them. The easiest way to see what’s assigned to what in HX Edit is to click on the Bypass/Controller Assign tab. You’ll see a color-coded list of all the assignments in the panel on the lower left part of the screen.
-
If there are new defaults for the models and factory presets, those won’t have any affect on your presets. You shouldn’t have to make any adjustments to anything.
-
Yes, it’s normal. The sounds from YouTube and other sites are program material, mastered to be as loud as possible.

If you wait long enough, I suppose it's a self-fulfilling prophesy... There really isn't going to be any sort of replacement product for the Helix for quite a while. It's certainly not a matter of a few months.
-
It will probably work, but you really don't need the knobs on the device itself, as you can set the min and max values for whatever parameters you want to control right in the HX Effects itself. Setting the values with the knobs actually limits you because it means it would restrict the values for any parameters you're controlling. You probably want to customize them for each snapshot, preset, or whatever... Saturnworks makes a similar thing without them for $19. https://saturnworkspedals.com/product/expression-pedal/ (select Micro Latching Expression Switch TRS 10k from the pulldown menu). You may want to contact Saturnworks to see if they could make you a TS latching version, though. That would for sure work.

Nope. Not in any way.
-
Yes, the toe switch takes a good amount of pressure to activate it.

Are you sure your pick isn’t hitting the pickup? I had a Telecaster where I was doing this all the time. It drove me crazy until I realized what it was.
-
I meant 40 BPM... I edited my original post to correct that. So at 40 BPM, a quarter note is 1.5 seconds.

The POD Go is a Class Compliant USB MIDI device. It’s just that it has very limited function as a controller. It has more options if you want to control it with MIDI.
