  1. You can use a standard USB cable to connect to your DAW and use the AMPLIFi as your audio interface (I'm assuming a 75 or 150 and not an FX100).
  2. The iPad has no USB, you can use a camera connection kit though.
  3. You have 30 days to return it. Your Bass PODxt has more models, although they're not HD models you may like some of the xt models more. btw... don't be careful with those bass accidents!!
  4. One solution is to get a mixer, doesn't have to be anything fancy. Run your analog outs from both PODs to your mixer and the mixer out to your monitoring solution. Then in Cubase select which device you want to record with, that device will also become your computer's audio interface.
  5. Just for clarification, are you flashed to the newest firmware? Is so, do you experience the same phenomenon? If so, if you recorded a sample via USB to a DAW is it the same?
  6. In the control panel there are power settings. In the advance power settings you could try to disable selective USB suspending. Also, just to eliminate some simple things, for general use make sure you are selecting the UX1 as the default sound device. For DAW use, make sure you are selecting the Line6 ASIO drivers in your DAW's setup and enabling the appropriate inputs and outputs. (The inputs and outputs likely will not be available for enabling until you select the Line6 ASIO driver in your DAW’s setup).
  7. While Editing a tone, click the Cloud icon towards the upper right, then the save Icon. You will have a choice to Save to My Tone or Save tone as.
  8. If you run Monkey and have green ticks for everything and are still having issues check your power setting scheme. I do not have Win10 so do not know the specifics. Also try different USB ports. If you still have an issue please call Line6 directly or open a support ticket. Although official Line6 reps drop in evey now and then, this is a user forum and not a direct line to support.
  9. Did you try a factory reset?
  10. They need to update the manual. The FX100 can be used to record directly to your DAW via USB.
  11. If you just purchased this it may have older per-Android firmware. If so you will need to flash it to the current firmware with the ine6 Updater or an iOS device.
  12. Do you know anyone with an i-Phone you could use just for the update? You can also try doing a factory reset then put it in update mode and try. You can also try without putting it in update mode. Also try different USB ports.
  13. Unfortunately that option is not available at this time. You could submit it to IdeaScale. On some of their other devices you can do this by saving a "bundle". If you do submit the if a, feel free to post a link to have users vote it up.
  14. +1 to silverhead Also, you can use the aux in which bypasses all the AMPLIFi's tone processing.
  15. You can have an empty patch and/or a patch with no AMP sim/can sim and only stomps. Goto: AMP Type >> Clean >> No AMP.
  16. You cab access then thru the app, otherwise you would need a a floorboard.
  17. I just have to acknowledge your cynical humor, I'm a huge fan of many humors, and you inject much logic in said humor. And I also would like to acknowledge MiroslavKloud for his/her contributions of data towards a resolution. Call me a fanboy if you want, but give Line6 some credit for not censoring this (epic?) thread.
  18. The AMP out is defiantly different, but it shouldn't be so low that it is not usable. You could try starting with the bass and treble all the way down and the mid all the way up. I personally don't care for it. But using the mains to the fx return would be the preferred method.
  19. Just for clarification, after running Line 6 Driver2 AMPLIFi Audio v1.76 Installer.exe and then after launching the Line6 Updater, the Line6 Updater does not see it?? If so I would try a different UBS cable just in case, if you still have issues, give support a call or submit a ticket.
