  1. I would isolate the POD (only plug-in guitar and headphones) and start checking simple things. Here's a few for starters, guitar cable, confirm guitar works on another amp, Input selection on the POD.
  2. Most 5.1 receivers have presets that can create "pseudo surround" from a stereo signal. I tried it with a PODxt a long time ago with a Marantz receiver which is in my living room. A ran the analog outs of the PODxt to Line level RCA ins of the receiver using 1/4" to RCA cables, it was fun for a bit. If you try this and you ins are not line level, you need to very careful with the output of the POD. I also did this with 2 Boss HR-2 Harmonist pedals as 4 discrete channels basically achieving an old school quadraphonic sound, that was pretty interesting.
  3. Favorite is for tone matching a song, if you really like the tone save it to "My Tones" and/or your hardware, that way there is no need to search.
  4. Make sure you have the most recent version of Monkey. Also, PF 2.0 is outdated, Monkey should detect this and prompt you to update.
  5. Just for clarification, how are you connecting your KRK's to the UX2? Have you tried the volume on the back of the KRK's?
  6. If you plug headphones directly to the POD to get sound?
  7. You will also need the current driver for pc.
  8. Have you contacted Line6 directly via phone or support ticket? Although Line6 reps drop in occasionally, this is a user forum and not a direct avenue to official support.
  9. If you run the Line6 Monkey, do you have green ticks for everything?
  10. Unless you purchased additional add-ons, There's nothing to transfer, just unregister the GX from your account. If you did not register it then you do not have to do anything.
  11. It does not show up as a set list. But you should have new models. Power cycle the POD you should see it as an installed pack on the splash screen.
  12. It likely has old firmware. You'll need to use the Line Updater via USB. You can also flash it via BT but if the firmware is "pre Android compatibility", you would need an iOS device.
  13. You can also try to reflash it via BT. Can Android or iOS see it in the Remote app?
  14. What BillBee said. If the 1st time the unit was registered was before Oct 2010 (I think that was the cutoff) you will only have PF 1.12. That is not the case with the majority of the Red-Faced Toneports. If it was after that you may be entitled to PF 2.5, if that is the case make sure you run the License Manager. This is the case with most (not all) Black-Faced POD Studios.
  15. Which method did you use to update the firmware? Did you try a factory reset after updating updating the firmware?
  16. You cannot. The license that came with the GX is a Hardware Enabled license. The Hardware Independent license is a separate purchase.
  17. Just for clarification, when you are plugging in the aux, you are adjusting the Master volume on the AMPLIFi and not the guitar volume?
  18. No you cannot go straight to the cabinet, you could go into a power amp then cabinet.
