    Yaya Effect

Now that we have a filter/vocoder type of effect I have been trying to recreate an effect that I have on my digitech pedals but I am having some difficulty. Anyone have any suggestions on how to get a similar sound from Helix? Would great to just use the one pedal. Thanks!
  2. Greetings, I saw a feature on the Seymour Duncan Andromeda delay I really like, as I pick more gently for clean parts I can set the delay to get louder. When I strum hard the delay pulls back in level. Pretty awesome. There's got to be a way to do this with the Helix. I'm googling around for it. Anyone have links, I'd appreciate it. Be well, Paul

Filter and pan effects, how to???

I'm Interested in buying a Pod HD 500 X, but i didn't have the chance to try these tricks yet... so I'm wondering if is it possible to create the following effects for use them live... 1 - Autofilter or High cut Filter Sweep, maybe assigning an Eq to the Exp Pedal??? ( example at 4:45 ) 2 - Auto pan, and maybe set the speed with the tap/tempo??? ... or do I need extra pedals, or tools?

    Firehawk Effects Blocks Basics

Firehawk Effects Blocks Basics In the Firehawk Remote editor, there are 12 effects blocks that you can turn on and off, and assign different models and parameters to. Some of them can be dragged to different locations, some can't. Of these twelve blocks, only five of them can be assigned as: · Drives and Dynamics · Mods · Delays · Filters, Synths and Pitch A quick way to tell which three can be assigned these effects types is that they have a border around them: Notice Stomp, Synth and Mod all are bordered. However, Reverb is selected, so its border is brighter. Here's how to change the effect type of those three blocks: 1. Select one of the three blocks by touching it. In this example, we'll select Stomp. 2. The effect will then show the effect type (in this case, "stomp"), the effect name ("Facial Fuzz"), and a power button to the right to turn the effect on or off. Touch the effect type to change it. 3. You'll then see a "Type" button. Touch it. 4. The block types then appear. Choose one. 5. The block has been changed. There is no restriction on the number of similar effect types or effects assigned to these three blocks. Three stomps, each with a Fuzz Pi on it? Go for it! Just don't forget to save your tone (cloud icon, then disc icon).
  5. I looked in the HELP menu's of Workbench HD but could not find the answer to this question. In Workbench HD, under the POTS tab, the CAPACITANCE field allows a value to be specified for the virtual capacitor on the virtual tone control. There are a range of numerical values reflecting commonly used capacitors but there is also a value called FILTER. Does anyone know what exactly does the FILTER value provide? Thanks.

  7. There is a known compatibility issue with current Line 6 drivers and the AMD USB Filter driver that comes preinstalled on several AMD computers including HP and Compaq. This issue materializes in the form of constant blue screens when connecting a Line 6 device via USB to these computers. Uninstalling this USB Filter driver will resolve this issue. Note: If you have an AMD PC with a different brand of video card or do not have ATI Catalyst installed and are still experiencing blue screens when you connect a Line 6 device you can manually check for the driver in your Windows system directory. If the driver is installed, it can usually be found at this location: C:\Windows\system32\DRIVERS\usbfilter.sys Also, we have seen users fix this issue by updating drivers for their video cards. Please make sure that drivers are up to date for all audio and video devices attached to your system. Such devices include: Video Cards PCI Based internal sound cards USB and Firewire audio Interfaces from other manufactures Web Cams Video Cameras that connect via USB and Firewire Digital Cameras and DSLR cameras that connect via USB and Firewire USB Microphones and Turntables Who Crashed is a useful and easy to use tool that can help you identify which drivers or devices are responsible for blue screens on Windows computers.
