Complete amateur here. I was just wondering if what I'm trying to do is possible. Right now I have my guitar plugged into my POD HD500x, and the POD is plugged into my MacBook with USB and I'm using the 1/4 output on the POD to a speaker I have. I just learned how to setup logic with a guitar plugin running helix native, I'm sending a completely clean sound into logic, but I can only get sound of the helix native pluggin outputting through the macbook speakers, I would like to get this sound to outputting to the speaker I have plugged into the POD. Do I need to plug the MacBook back into the POD using a different cable? Or is just the USB into the MacBook all I need?

I've got a Pod Pro HD X and am considering an investment in the Helix Native software. I've been looking for information in the manual and elsewhere that would let me know whether Native can preserve settings of the Variax family of instruments per patch as the Pod Pro and Helix appear to to be able to do and I've yet to find an answer to the question. Can anyone here shed some light on this question please? Thanks!

I recently got the free trial of helix native to see if the helix was for me. I've been looking at it for a long time. Now that I have it, all my tones are muddy. When I record, the notes sound like one long jumbled and distorted mess. I record through a Scarlett 2i2 with the input gain super low because that helps. My question is, how would I fix this? Is it the Scarlett's gain that's the problem? Would the helix floor or rack have the same issues recording through that input as opposed to recording through a separate interface? Thanks

No Input - MacOS Mojave 10.14
Line6Kody posted a article in Computer Audio Set Up and Troubleshooting
Apple's new OS Mojave 10.14, has implemented a new security feature that can block input signals if not allowed access. Once a user has launched a DAW or stand alone plugin for the first time after the Mojave update, they will prompted to "allow mic access." If mic access is denied, user will not be able to receive an input via the specified software. To manually approve your software navigate to: System Preferences > Security and Privacy > Privacy > Microphone From this menu, user will be granted the ability to approve any software that was previously denied.-
