dbedard67
Anyone have suggestions for a good bag to carry around my new HD500X? Nylon with pockets for cables? Thanks, Dennis (New DT-25 & HD500X owner)
alienux
What's best really depends on what you're looking for, but if you're looking for a nylon case with a pocket, the Gator Case is great: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0002GL7ZO/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I've been using one for my HD500X for several months and I really like it. It's just a bit snug on the corners, but that gives it a nice comfy fit without letting it bounce around inside the case.
dbedard67
Awesome. Gator is right here in Tampa, US made. We use them for our live sound gear (mixing, racks, lighting, etc.) Thanks!
alienux
No problem. I think you'll like it if you end up going with that one.

brue58ski
You can get an official Line 6 bag for $60 on amazon. I've used their XT Live bag and it was very study. Gator is very good as well and cheaper.
ddeyerle
I've been usuing the SKB HD500 case for my Digitech RP1000 for the past 3 years (finally just started using my HD500). It has major problems with the zipper pulls. Both came off after a few months and eventually got lost. I replaced them with zip ties. The rest of the case is fine and has held up to a lot of use and abuse with no ill effects to the content inside. Other than the zipper pulls (which may be a deal breaker for you), it has no noticable wear and tear.
medbad5150
Yeah I use the Gator too mate, brilliant and just the job. Stick the power supply in pocket so it's never lost.

pbsowden
I'm not sure how you guys got this to fit in the Gator bag. HD500X are 21.5" long and the Gator bag is 22.5" exterior length. I just got mine in and was not able to get it to fit after 5 minutes of trying. Not even close. And that's the larger of the two bags. I'm continuing my search, all advice is appreciated! I needed a tub of Crisco and a sledgehammer to get the thing in there initially... got a little easier over time.
pfsmith0
Yes, I remember the first few times it was quite a sung fit. It's much easier now, 4 yrs later.
