  1. Hi Made an update of my Cheat Sheet, Line6 Helix Model Summary, if anyone are intereted. All up to date with 2.50 update and all amps, cabs, mics and effects are in order of appearance on the unite. Some corrections are also made, if someone down loaded the previus version. Unfortunately, there will be one more page as there are just too many amps and effects in the unit :-) Or, there is now room for more... I still want to keep the sheet readable, so have kept the font size the same. Download from my dropbox - https://www.dropbox.com/s/e2jsnnqwscr6iml/Line6 Helix-Model Summary%2C 2%2C50-P1.0-01.pdf?dl=0 Have fun //Per

  2. C'mon! What is the point? - Not your point, OUR point! I just want to click on the icon and use the amp. It's not like I am trying to use it illegally! I have been complaining about this login ridiculousness for ages! The best you could do was create a LOGIN AS GUEST button? - The LOGIN AS GUEST button does NOT give access to the player! Whom is this button for??? People without the amps? C'MON. PLEASE ELIMINATE THE REPEATED LOGINS! Why am I typing this at 1:15am??? I have already logged in a hundred times since I bought the amp! WHY? Unbelievably insensitive.

  3. As I've said, it's not there at all if you set up your patch properly. So this becomes a non-issue at that point. And an earlier commenter pointed out - correctly - that it's better to have some high frequency headroom than to lack it. Since your experienced ears should be able to tell you where to cut without pruning your higher gain tones, it's really getting difficult to understand what the issue is here.

  4. Overanalyzing, and tweaking when you don't really need to, is a great way to screw up tones that were perfectly fine to begin with. Nothing can get infinitely "better"... eventually you end up shooting yourself in the foot, and then you have to fix something that was just fine before you screwed with it. "Nagging feelings" are just that...feelings. If it sounds good, who gives two wet farts what you cut or didn't cut to get there?

  6. This is a cinch! First confirm what midi channel the sy-300 is set to use through it's menu. Menu---midi---midi settings It's the first option Then go to the helix command center on the patch your working with. Now choose an instant command. Command - bank/prog Midi ch - whatever channel you have the boss set to Program - the number of the present you wish to recall. Working great for me. However if you intend to send midi commands using footswitches in snapshots mode, you'll have to wait, cause with current firmware the helix is a crippled animal at the moment.... dying for another update to fix this!!!!!

  7. I clicked to read about frfr speakers. Lol Hmmmm..... works with the kids: "You! Go sit in that corner! And you! Sit in the other and can-it! After 5 minutes I wanna see hugs and apologize or it's to bed without dinner! Ah ah! I said sit. down. and. can-it! Turn around and face the corner damnit! Mom and I are making a drink and don't want to hear a peep now!" To wife, "Why did we have kids?!"

  9. Update 1-6-18: Contacted Line6 Support and they fixed the issue. Based on a wireshark logfile I send. I'm happy.

  10. FYI: the app does remember the login, it is just that the server token does expire. That changed around the same time as the change in forums. And yes, this is a stupid programming mistake, that I hoped was solved with the recent update. At least the app could offer to relogin just as it does on initial launch. See also the other post about need for logging in to access local playlist: That I think is also a stupid programming error, since you could access the jamtracks without login..

  11. Given that snapshots are directly related to the specific blocks being used (specific amp, specific pedal, specific cab, etc), it seems you'd be better off simply making a copy of the patch and modifying it. But no, you can't copy a snapshot primarily for that reason.

  12. Well good for you sunshine. "There isn't a manual, but most of the functions are pretty obvious." I guess I'm a f'ing idiot then because it's not obvious at all. Trying to scroll through 78 amp models on something the size of a phone. That's ridiculous. That's just stupid.
