  1. Hello yaronnir, Im sure with the thousands of presets available from customtone.com to the presets in your device there may be a preset with this exact set up. On the flip side I highly recommend checking out our tutorial videos which will give an in depth idea on how to create this on your own as well. Cheers!
  2. In my opinion, I would try the DT50 4x12 cab. Its max load is 300 watts; it's also loaded with two flat response speakers with 2 Celestion Vintage 30's (in an X pattern). Line 6 and Bogner felt the modeling worked the best with this combination. I'd say give it a try due to it being a cab that will handle the power and showcase the tone.
  3. On the face of the 500 next to the expression pedal , is the Guitar in switched to normal instead of 'PAD'? If you haven't tried yet: System Preferences>Sound> Input (select HD500)>Output (select HD500) What exactly is producing your audio playback from your computer? Internet, iTunes, Protools?..
  4. Hey there, There are a few options. You can always purchase a splitter that would plug into the headphone out that can have a few headphone inputs, like when more than one person wants to listen to the same iPod (check out the Belkin Rockstar 5). The other option is the use of the headphone jack, and the unbalanced left and right outs. Keeping in mind that the listener would only be getting either the left or the right side (if your not doing anything in stereo there shouldn't to much of a difference). With that being said that gives you 3 outs. You could try the FX loop send, but you may not get much volume that way. Those are the options I see. I highly recommend my first. Cheers! :D
  5. Hey there, Your computer is reading the HD500 as the main audio device for ins/outs. The master knob on your HD500 should be the overall output of your computer. Just like with a traditional interface.
  6. Hey there, As long as the new tuners are the same dimensions as the stock ones you'll be fine with no issues.
  7. Hey Didi1396, With a heavy patch like this I'm assuming your already using a noise gate. Try setting the 'Decay' to zero percent so the gate reacts instantly. Let me know if this helps.
  8. Hey glip, Do you have access to a PC (not supported for OSX at the moment)? If so you can perform the update via the PC update utility. Heres a link that goes into the details and the PC Utility: http://line6.com/support/page/kb/_/amplifi-products/ampl/how-to-update-amplifi-with-a-pc-r701
  9. Hey ffpickard, That is a strange issue. Out of curiosity, are you using the PX-2 power supply, or another form of pedal board power? Also, if you haven't already try doing a factory reset on your device to see if that helps. By following pages 2.5-2.6 of the manual (link below), it goes over how to back up your presets and perform the factory reset. http://line6.com/data/6/0a060b316ac34f0593fca717b/application/pdf/M9%20Advanced%20Guide%20-%20English%20(%20Rev%20A%20).pdf
  10. Hey Shadowpete, Keep in mind that Amplifi will only allow one Bluetooth device to stream to the amp, meaning the Amplifi app will not be able to connect, which is why you are getting that message on your phone/pad. But the guitars audio should come through regardless. By pressing the master volume knob (the 'blend') the red turns into white, which is the guitars output level. If you haven't done so yet, click that and raise the volume to bring up your guitar. I highly recommend updating your amplifi as well, which can be performed through the amplifi app, or by plugging into a PC using monkey. With a smart device the update takes about 40 minutes, with a PC it takes 5. Let me know if this has helped or not. Thanks!
  11. Hey jonhollis, You are correct. When running a rack mount wireless (or any other rack mount gear) plugging into the back of the PRO x' Line input is the same as plugging into the front.
  12. Hey ahee88, Are you saying when plugging a pair of headphones or speakers into Sonic Ports output that you get no audio? Keep in mind that Sonic Ports output audio is only available through Sonic Ports output, you will not hear playback through the iPads speaker. Please let us know if you have any further questions. :D
  13. Hey there Dialtech, By clicking the link below and scrolling down, you'll see a list of videos that dive into the Amplifi remote app and Amplifi itself that are very informative for anyone who is new to Amplifi. Let us know if you have any further questions! http://line6.com/support/page/kb/_/general-faq/line-6-video-tutorials-complete-list-r202?st=0#comment_0
  14. Hey there! Lets go over the FX loop first. In an amp, an FX loop is literally a point in the amps signal in-between the amps pre-amp and power amp. The FX loop is primarily used for FX such as reverbs, and delays. Running these type of effects through the FX loop will give you a cleaner, non cluttered result (depending on how much gain/distortion) as the FX loop is placed after the gain stage. Which is most likely why you have been getting a strange result. Since you are running in front of a traditional amp I highly recommend first adjusting your output options on your POD to give you the best overall tone. This way the POD will know that its in front of a tradition amp as apposed to a Direct Input for a recording situation. Please look over pages 2.7-2.8 of the user guide to set up your pod to its best output option. Each output option has a description which will help when choosing. http://line6.com/data/6/0a06434c6fb051e03e8ab63dc/application/pdf/POD%20HD500X%20Advanced%20Guide%20-%20English%20(%20Rev%20A%20).pdf Lastly, if you scroll through all the amp models, you'll notice they repeat but now they will end with "PRE". A regular amp model is consisted of that amps pre-amp and power amp. When you have an amp model that ends in pre, that means that its only the amp models pre-amp (which is where most the amps tone is). What is great about this in your situation is that you can run the preamp from any amp model while using your Deluxe power amp to push it. This should help with getting your tones in the right direction. Please let me know if you have any further questions!
  15. Hello, Are you saying every time you hit the FS5 footswtich the pod will bank up every time you press it?
  16. Hey there! Just like a traditional amplifier, Ampllifi's guitar input is a mono input, so plugging in a 1/4 stereo cable will not give you a stereo spread. The AUX input on the other hand is stereo (such as; incase someone wants to jam with a track but doesn't have a bluetooth device, or wants to add a mic or keys). The only guitar effects that will be in stereo are those available with Amplifi. If it's a stereo effect, by placing the effect after the amp will give you its stereo function.
  17. Hey there, the 4 cable method is used for the purpose of being able to choose which effects you would want pre or post to use with an amp having an effects loop. For example you can use this method the run an Overdive in front of the amp while your running a Reverb after the amp.
  18. Hey Palico, When ever "Low volume mode" is engaged the DT will quiet down majorly even with L6 link being used, this is a setting thats great to get the full sound you want in a situation where you dont want to wake up the neighbors at 11pm. :D Follow me on Twitter!: @Line6NBell
  19. Hey Ricstudioc, Here's a few thoughts: Using the PRE-amp models are definatly the way to go with this kind of setup. To answer your question YES the DT's speaker is taken into acount with the HD's modeling to come through as genuine as possible. Its a 12" customer made flat response speaker. With this set up taking the output options into acount makes a huge difference due to the POD HD being designed for more solutions other than live use. Holding down the View button will give you output options. Since your running into a DT, using the second output option "combo stack" will give you the speaker modeling without the mic and air modeling giving you the ideal live set up. Using the simulated out in the back is another option that is modeled after the DT's cab and will only give you that tone.
  20. Hey dperry85, With the M13 you have a tuner built in via holding down the tap temp, so we can always leave the tuner out. Since the FX you want to add are just distortions and drives you could simply run them before the M13 and be good to go. BUT if you would like the convienience of being able to turn on those FX witht thee M13 its possible. The M13 has a built in FX loop. With this you could have your Wampler always turned on running into the M13's FX Loop and then have the option on one of the M13's footswitches to be the FX loop's on/off switch; so you're not doing a big tap dance before a solo. To get a deeper detail into this solution check out page 2.4 of the advance guide: http://line6.com/data/6/0a060b316ac34f0594000d02c/application/pdf/M13%20Advanced%20Users%20Guide%20-%20English%20%28%20Rev%20A%20%29.pdf
  21. Hey Rotten77, The M Series auto saves with any paremeter when using an expression. Set your toe position to its max, then manually set the paremeter via the knob to your disired max output volume. Do this same process for where you would want your heel volume to be. When you test the expression pedal you'll see the new set range. This can be done with any effect within the M Series.
  22. Hey Matt, You're noticing this issue with delays and reverbs due to putting them infront of the amp, which when amplified wtih gain gives an over the top result. These kinds of effects you'll want to run into your JSX 200's FX return/send. Page 9 of the Manual gives a great diagram of the "4 cable method". This give syou the ability to run FX such as verbs and delays in the FX loop while having FX such as drives and wah wahs going in front of the amp. http://line6.com/data/6/0a06434d113a6507f344f15dcc/application/pdf/M13%20Stompbox%20Modeler%20Users%20Manual%20-%20English%20%28%20Rev%20D%20%29.pdf
  23. Hey Eleander, What is your set up? Which FX are you having this issue with in conjuntion with your rig?
  24. Hey Diego, the 500x can also be used as an interface so yes you can use it to record your amp, acoustic, vox, bass. If you turn off amp modeling you can use the EQ's and FX, then run a line or stereo out to your DAW. This is whats great about the 500x incase you dont already have an interface. Keep in mind what ever effect/amp you use it will effect your sound. So if you wanted to record just your amp with a mic, and a little reverb --turn off amp modeling and turn on a reverb. Now if you were asking if you could record your mic'd amp plus amp modeling in two seperate channels in your DAW via the 500X the answer is no. What ever is happening in your signal chain will effect any incoming signal. This is all in regards to using 500x for recording. Keep in mind you can disable amp modeling completley if desired and you can use just the effects. If you havent already, i highly reccomend checking out page 2.8 of the POD HD500X Advanced Guide. Click this link and select the manual of your language preference. Page 2.8 goes in depth about the output modes of the 500x. These output options really get you the fullest/truest tone when using your pod with an external amplifier. http://line6.com/support/manuals/podhd500x
