seriously...no responses? Do you need tools to remove it or what? I ruptured my bicep @ work & am weakened...but don't wanna damage guitar further by trying to pull it off

The other day I had the " sticky knob" problem . . .lol - I was just wondering, that knob supposedly just pulls off correct? I ask because it's the surrounding plastic base ring that's become detached - & when I tried to pull the knob upwards I couldn't do it. The dsp is working fine now, but hard to see led w/that ring not in place. On another sad note - I had to sell my 69 BACK to the store to pay off my debt w/them (sad day)

I notice my 69 (purchased this summer) slips some...I'd replace nut 1st before neck swap, besides, my 59 is my main rig

dunno - I paid a hefty price up North eh! BUT...couldn't be happier w/my Korean 59 & 69 & pod500 - the ONLY thing I gotta do is block trem on 69 & maybe get one of those maglock jobbies to "catch my balls if they fall off"

this is how yer' doing it ? Copy & Paste a Preset to a new Channel location - Click on a Preset to select it. Then press your Ctrl key (on Windows®) or Option key (on Mac®) and left-click and drag the Preset to the new desired Channel location.

yes - & that's ALL I know lol (you'd be able to change patches & other parameters on VL as well) you'll have some readin 2 do :)

Thanks for this - you make a point that I may have been missing all along - "Save the patch to the computer first, then "Send" it to the POD" I also have guitar rig2 which was user friendly for drag n drop fx to the expression...but this is awesome

ok, you guys guilted me out enough LOL - I changed them on the 59...had issue w/G strings windings catching on my hand - dummy me I replaced it when I could have just put tape on it. I do have a set of fender 315OR that I'd read were supposedly good on variax - will try em out next time, & within the year! :) Thanks to Cruisin & Radatats for the kind words BTW I guess being more of a rhythm player I don't stretch em out all that much...but that is one thing I noticed w/the stock strings on 59 was that I COULD bend them easily (which seemed to "put a spark" in my playing/attack)

Gotta remember Crusin,,,,I'm the guy who had a cardiac on his way into town to get the variax...postponed it for a bit - otherwise -I don't play out often, until recent I've joined a band & 1st gigs this Friday (been a solo act for 15 yrs)... Also try different USB port if available - my laptop is fussy that way

my 59 STILL has the original D'Addario's on it a yr later - to me it sounds as sweet as day 1 - one thing I've noticed between the 59 & 69 I got in the fall is the 59 acoustic models sound better - yet before 2.10 I thought it the other way around - 69 seems duller (maybe the tension factor?)

yup - flawless here..I never did go thru pod before, no more pops like Arislaf says

funny - I've looked @ that article more than once & somehow missed that arm was threaded as well

this is unfortunate...the alt tunings apply globally otherwise to the models - I'd wanna take the dadgad & open tunings down 1/2 step - that'd use up more slots on 500

sorry - my bad...even though pod500 was chosen..as soon as I entered SRV in search, it went to all units

renaming doesn't work for me either - & I WAS searching under pod 500 only (SRV patches)
