The white led's only relates to mp3 playback , it's so you can balance the guitar with a backing track so there is no generally "correct" setting , it changes depending on the volume of the track being played and the patch being used I use the pink led volume to balance volume between different patches , so it's a good idea to get that as close to middle as possible so that you have room to adjust it up or down as needed (at low volume or while using headphones the volume difference between patches can seem minimal but when amplified to gigging volume the difference between a clean patch and a soloing patch can become more pronounced

Acoustic modelling doesn't sound that great through a guitar amp generally speaking so the dt amp wouldn't handle acoustic guitar brilliantly A full range flat response (FrFr) speaker would handle acoustic sounds better but you may need to experiment with eq to get the electric guitar to sound like it's being played through an amp Guitar speakers naturally cut highs and lows from the guitar signal which helps to give an amp it's character FrFr speakers or powered monitors will reproduce the full frequency range So for example you might pick a Marshall amp model to use and through an FrFr speaker you might hear too much of the high frequencies that are normally filtered out by a guitar cab so you would then need to apply a little eq It's a balancing act whichever way you go but personally I went with a firehawk and a stagesource LT3 It may take me longer to find the tone I really want but the payoff for me is that when I want to record direct to a computer my sounds are already fit for that purpose and I don't need to fiddle with it too much
-
Unfortunately you can't do that within firehawk at the moment ,you would need to set up some kind of switching box external to the firehawk

Put headphones on head -
To be fair that's quite an involved set up and I guess firehawk was never really designed with that as a priority , it's more a plug and play kinda thing I suppose the extra twang your getting is down to the difference in cab sims and so that's unlikely to be changed I guess we all still search for that one box does it all holy grail, even the helix has things missing which I would find frustrating

How on earth does 02 stand for January? -
If you type "fh" into tone search it brings up a list of firehawk patches and most are hd The killer blow though is that the page only holds 30 tones and I can see no way of seeing further pages of patches Scrub that it's not working now lol
-
Anybody know how I should set this up volume wise? I don't want to blow the speaker up obviously so is it better to turn the firehawk up and the speaker down? Or turn the speaker up and control volume with the firehawk? I have so much headroom either way works great but I wonder which is the correct procedure

Just got a stagesource LT3 speaker to run my firehawk through and it sounds amazing the end

Search for tone "Bj clean" it has 4 assignable fx blocks instead of 3 I've been using it for weeks without any issues
-
What he means is you don't have to use a footswitch to turn reverb on and off , you can assign that footswitch to control a different block
-
I think you can overcome most of those problems just by setting up different patches for different songs I'm guessing that ideally you'd like to be able to remove the amp and cab sims entirely and spend unused processing power on more fx blocks
-
I'm getting an Lt3 in 2 days , so excited Silver head do you use yours in reference mode or guitar mode? I'm hoping the lt3 will allow me to get good results while using the cab sims in the firehawk I currently use a fender mustang iii as a power amp and it sounds much better with the cab turned off
-
Yeah as above really , sometimes I'll create a tone with headphones and then when I put it through a PA it will sound a bit boomy so I engage the eq to cut some of the low end, it's useful that way because if I use that tone to do some recording direct through the USB I don't need to fiddle with setting for ages I just need to turn off the eq block and it brings the low end back in

Visit ideascale and put a vote in on the idea of using set lists and they might include it in a future update
-
You could do it if you fed the audio in through the guitar jack but it would be mono
-
I'm finding all the delays to be excellent and we do a few U2 covers
-
You can do it just long press on the position parameter and select it as fx tweak and then select pedal for control, I was using it tonight
-
Oh I see, yeah that would be cool, I could use it to bring in a special effect of some kind for a prechorus or something, stick it on ideascale and I'll vote for it
-
What would you use it for?

I don't get why you restricted your question to worship guys? A song is a song right?
