Vote it up on ideascale guys, the suggestion has already been submitted just needs votes
-
Yeah panic over, they are going to switch for another one on Monday
-
Just took delivery and opened up my brand new firehawk from Andertons and the bank up switch is fitted wrong, it seems sturdy enough but is totally misaligned with the hole in the casing, I ordered this back in February and have been chomping at the bit to get my hands on one ever since Gutted doesn't even cut it
-
I think guitar level is only relative to the mp3 playback but haven't tried mine out yet so I'm not 100% sure on that, are you planning on using the Firehawk for effects only or will you be using the amp models?
-
When your output is switched to "amp" it reduces the volume a bit as it's designed to go into the front of a guitar amp (so the signal from the Firehawk is going through the preamp and poweramp sections of your amplifier) when the output is set to line the volume is slightly higher as it's designed to go into a pa desk, frfr monitor or a poweramp If you already know all that then soz that's about as much as I know about it for now
-
If you have an FX loop on the amp just plug into the fx return instead of the front of your amp
-
Cool, it would probably take me longer than that to get my computer working anyway
-
Did you update on pc or bluetooth? Mine has been delivered to a neighbour, bet he's either a)out when I get home or b) rocking his socks off with my pedal grrr
-
You beat me, mines not coming until tomorrow
-
I think he's using the variax but not using the Firehawk to switch the guitar models, I think he recorded the video before he realised that switching by firehawk needed to be turned on
-
The race is on! Lol
-
Andertons put a message out on Twitter saying firehawks are currently being processed and will be in the mail Wednesday morning
-
Man I definitely can't explain it in Dutch lol
-
I think you need 2 for true stereo? It only has one speaker
-
Haha yeah that's why I didn't attempt to explain it, I'd probably only confuse matters lol
-
Tone matching will only ever be as strong as the community that drives it, as you say you haven't contributed to the library yourself and that's kinda the root of the problem, I had the same issue with the zoom g5, it wasn't easy to share tones so the amount of user created tones is really low By the way you can do manual searches by just typing in the name of the song without using any mp3's If you find a particular artist who isn't represented why not have a bash at that tone yourself? It's actually the best way to learn and refine tone building skills, just Google search what amps, effects etc that the guy uses and have a go at building it and don't forget to share Even if it's terrible it might get other people having a go who think they can better it
-
Yeah it sucks, I only ordered with Andertons because they seemed to have close links with line 6
-
I just got an email from Andertons putting it back a few more days, now it's due in store 4/6/15

Firehawk - how to setup & maintain multiple setlists

Cool, I voted for it, there were quite a few other good ideas on there too since I last looked -
Firehawk - how to setup & maintain multiple setlists
mcbeddall replied to freddie0815's topic in Firehawk
Paul Hindmarsh did several videos for line 6 when the Firehawk was first announced and he said that you could save entire set lists to the app and then push individual set lists to the Firehawk specifically for people who play in different bands or if you just want to re-order the patches for particular sets, so it either got taken out or is yet to be implemented, he never demoed the feature, only talked about it being possible If I were you I'd get something up on ideascale and let us all know so we can vote for it -
There are a new set of instructions available at line 6 manuals
-
Yeah I checked, use the left(mono) output
-
Yeah that's it buddy, usually the left output of the Firehawk though as that will be summed mono (i could be wrong, check manual) which means you will hear all of your stereo effects If you use the right output you may only hear the right side of any stereo effects
-
If we pooled a list of problematic patches we could probably narrow it down to a certain amp or cab that was used in the patch, maybe it's an effect or something that isn't featured on firehawk so it throws a wobble?
-
Maybe we could ask Wayne to rename it to "she ain't firehawk compliant"?
