uhm... if you look closely at the picture i posted you'll notice the little green antennas poking out from the amplifi... as in... yes... android support is coming!

well if you don't unlock it.... it may as well not be there.. it's pretty much the same thing... except nothing to download. think of it like an "in app purchase" it still gives you the same number of new models to play either way.

just to rule out reaper... try this free demo: http://www.acoustica.com/mixcraft/ it's my favorite windows DAW and it's reasonably affordable... anyway give it a try as a troubleshooting step and see if that helps us narrow down on the problem.

there is no install file.. you pay they unlock it in your account... then you log in and the license manager unlocks it on your device or computer.... so yes... the model packs are already installed... you are just paying for an unlock. no idea why they dont offer paypal though...

the latency reported by ASIO4ALL is always a lie... since it fakes ASIO and is not truly ASIO compliant... remove that crap! even if it "worked" it would not be working as ASIO drivers are intended to work. do you have monitoring on your recorded track turned off? if its on it can create a bit of a mess. also where are your speakers plugged it etc... there's more than the USB involved.... if your speakers are laptop speakers or otherwise plugged into your computer etc... can cause big problems... they need to be connected directly to the UX

I recently used a GR55, and hated it... sounds where ok, latency fine... the roland menus were cumbersome and the externally mounted pickups hideous. i love options, and i know that there are roland ready strats etc... between roland and variax (and a lesser extent that autotune peavey and fishman triple play) someone will crack the whole concept wide open.... till then they are all useful tools... the GR55 was fun for all the additional instruments... i'm certainly not going to discount any of it...

depends on what program you are talking about? Monkey and drivers should install.... pod farm 2 is not quite ready yet but should be shortly.... that and there are other programs that share a similar status.... i was just giving a heads up... the operating system still remains unsupported until it's out of beta.

i personally use and love my m-audio axioms. i have the 25 and the 61. you'll likely have a lot of setup no matter which one you choose... that's just the nature of the beast.. some units have downloadable templates from the manufacturer, and some will have community provided templates... that can sometimes help... but don't count on it.. may not fit your needs.

it's possible you just need the looper in post mode, and a good pair of dancing shoes to go in and out of looper mode

keep in mind.. some of those requests might not be reasonably possible on the current hardware... in which case the feature would likely show up on the next generation... and they would surely mark it as such after release... but as is always the case they won't comment or hint at what they are working on publicly. more than one reason... the simplest is that plans change along the way and an idea may not work out... but also they are publicly owned, and there are alot of regulations regarding statements due to those statements possibly affecting the investment value. I like the idea of rewarding posters... heck even a bumper sticker for the guitar case would be cool... post that on ideascale! :D haha

is it a power pc mac? you may have to remove some software and reinstall some older versions... if you're lucky you can make it work... but the message is correct, power pc is not supported...

they 100% do read, and set their projects based on the ideascale site.. just so you know... it's well worth submitting things there... there is no immediate gratification built in... some ideas will never get off the ground... some too expensive... some used in future products... some just wait their turn... but all are read and evaluated. fact.
