  1. have you considered making labels for the FBV MKII shortboard as well? that covers alot more Line6 products as well as the pod hd pro and pro x
  2. I have no problem with anyone that wants to make or sell aftermarket additions to the great gear here... we have a guy that makes custom VDI cables, the 2 guys here that want to make magnetic labels, and a few others that make third party software applications... all good by me.... not sure why my post above got voted negative for approving of the product stated in this post... (2nd post) that's kind of a bummer that someone would be offended by my positive comments... i also have no idea why rootmusic's previous attempts got shut down... nothing to do with me, or any of the other experts that i can recall... good luck to all who venture to improve our Line6 gear.. and i'm happy that you care enough to add to the community.
  3. the old workbench works via java... so that's more important than your OS...
  4. that plus it's been like that since forever... even earlier L6 programs... and users have complained... that entire time... which spans a decade.... the possibility of them waking up tomorrow and changing it... seems far fetched... more than likely if the complaint registered it will be fixed in a future product... in other words.. not enough people complained for them to make it a priority..... this is where ideascale would come in... get you a posse. :)
  5. remember the HD500 loop is stereo too... best to use a TRS/Insert cable
  6. midi with the M pedals + HD pods is super simple... no setup or anything... just cable it up... and make your changes... save your tone... next time you select the tone it will recall your settings. just sort of turns the M into a slave.
  7. check the FBV port on the pedal... or on the pod.. sounds like you might have some bent pins.
  8. you have to add a volume pedal to the tone... it does not automatically work. you can also assign the pedal to control the amp volume...
  9. neither one of those options has midi.... if you connect the M pedals via midi the settings will recall with the patch... with the 300/400 idea you end up with alot of tap dancing.
  10. an unusual finish color for sure.. the early USA prototypes had seymour duncan pickups as well. I can't tell with certainty... if it's been modified or is in fact a USA.... maybe Tony will know :)
  11. i suggest you call or open a support ticket if you want a response "ASAP" http://line6.com/company/contact/
  12. I've had instances in the past where i had to disconnect EVERYTHING except power to get a flash to take. It's not normal really... but it's easy enough to live with given that flashing is not an everyday event... and the pedals i was flashing were long out of warranty...
  13. you need to create an aggregate device on your mac, that has the input and output you want... and then select that. you'll have to google mac aggregate audio or similar for instructions.
  14. you need to change the pre/post setting based on which one you want at the time,.
  15. exactly... that and a number of other features is why i bought a RC300 crazy overkill, and crazy big.. but crazy awesome! :)
  16. you will need to unzip them first... zip files are not supported.
  17. it's all in the timing... it's something you'll have to work at.
  18. unplug... hold direction key left... plug in.. release when fully booted.
  19. not tested... but it will work. there will be buttons that don't do anything... (normal) but the vast majority will do exactly what it's labeled to do.
  20. call them during normal business hours... ask them.... then report here for everyone... they do not typically read all the forum posts. http://line6.com/company/contact/
  21. you have to use BOTH... without 1/4" plugged in (doesnt have to have anything on the amp end!) the guitar will not power on... and thus.. not work.
  22. ahhh... then you probably have UAC enabled.... go to the start menu type UAC hit enter... put slider at the lowest setting... reboot... try again. this will disable the UAC (user access control) which is prompting you... you can return to the UAC screen and turn it back on after the fact... (i wouldn't bother...)
  23. what is it you think you can't do? your 700 works the same as it always did.
