  1. there are a few computer based ones here: http://line6.com/support/topic/124-user-created-dt-editors/ no info about the app...
  2. because there are no licenses available for the FX100... it doesn't use the license manager, and you don't need it to see anything.
  3. what operating system..... would be a good place to start... never prompts me for that on mac or windows...
  4. there is a physical switch on the VX you have to flip too....
  5. yes you need the footpedal... the footpedal connect via ethernet cable... but then has a standard usb cable to connect to pc... DO NOT HOOK UP PC TO ETHERNET FBV PORT.. you sill certainly damage something doing so.
  6. are you using workbench HD? the original workbench may not be applicable depending on what firmware is on the guitar.
  7. there is no sound processing software with windows... use your recording software... it usually has options.... the software part of sonicport is iOS (apple device) related. the microphone and basic input output capability can be used with recording software on win/mac. the sonciport is not a toneport/pod studio replacement product....
  8. they fixed the installers... so that it would install... (before release) obviously the drivers have issues for some people and they are still working on it. at the time i wrote that the driver was not "broken" it simply would not install on the beta.
  9. oh yeah, that's a common "hack" :)
  10. yes, they never came out with an "x" version and they've stated that the original chips are no longer available=discontinued.
  11. no.... the port looks like a lan part and uses the same cable etc.... the port operates completely different and even sends power... if you hook up anything besides an FBV in that port you WILL damage something.
  12. no... just get the windows 7 drivers and install.. like 97% sure it will work.. i think they just forgot to list vista in the download.
  13. yes you can.... and no not really... the workflow difference between the pod natively and a plugin.. isn't simple... it can be done... but its 2 completely different ways to record and i find it slows down my creativity to deal with both at the same time.
  14. yeah they call it that now... because it's not officially a model of anything else...
  15. buy it! once it adds it to your account, authorize both your computer and the interface and then you can use pod farm in every way that it can be used.
  16. its now hardware independent (except ilok) no worries.
  17. the bomber replaced the elektrik (which was the original bomber) but then users cried because they preferred the original.... line6 added it back with a new name... .but yes... the bomber is more accurate and that's why it exists.... the elektrik was never intended to exist after that... but it does... in it's inferior state... it is what it is... some like it...
  18. there is an amplifi utility for download that will flash your device from USB now too.... (from windows only at the moment) much faster than bluetooth.
  19. you dont need to transfer anything... just download monkey and use the license manager to authorize your other devices... (you can have up to 4 authorized)
  20. the android app and 2.0 update is coming very soon.... however.. i've not heard your ideas on improving the app... it simply works. i can't think of anything i'd want that wouldn't require a huge change... such as maybe tonematching for things in the cloud... (cant be done because there is no metadeta present for cloud objects)
  21. I assumed they contained different cap's and wiring same as you. clever... sure is better than modding and buying 3 strats!
  22. All strats are not created equal.... http://www.americanmusical.com/ItemFiles/Manual/3in1_adpg62.pdf
  23. actually... they added a model of the variax 89 pickups themselves... so of course you can use that to alt tune and build other models etc... you're covered.
  24. typically the ilok license is its own thing... you need model packs.... you can try calling and asking them to accomodate you: http://line6.com/company/contact/ not a sure thing... but maybe worth asking... good luck.
